@@raistlin906 yeah their popularity is growing fast and I like that a lot but they are still not comparable to "the big ones" like band maid or babymetal, even though the music is definitely on a similar level.
@@Lord_Mafus There are a lot of other great female bands/metal idol bands too, like Aldious, BRATS, Doll$boxx, Hagane, Mary's Blood, Necronomidol, Passcode... Japan has a lot of depth in quality music. For example, one of my favourite female singers, Misa from Story of Hope, hasn't had another band since the band ended, and unfortunately is only doing covers in her youtube channel.

Nemophila have been releasing solo shots of each member of this song. The only 2 that might not get their own video is Murata Tamu and Haraguchi-san since they share a platform. Lovebites should have a new MV coming out in mid-December at the latest to promote In the Beginning so keep an eye out for it. The song was recorded with Miho and the MV does include her so it will be the final song with Miho in an official capacity with Lovebites.

Always enjoy it when you 'fan girl' Jen. I have just caught up with your Nemophila reactions. Since Lovebites are no more, hopefully temporarily, I have discovered Nemophila. Not so sure about Mayu scream vocals but I like it when she adds the rasp to her voice. Only Japan seems able to produce lady's who have wonderful talent, look cute one moment and dangerous the next. In the 'making of' Revive video, the Nemophila lady's complain about not wearing enough cloth and the wind. Looks ok to me though! 😍 Nemophila are younger and angrier Lovebites. You always find a way of emphasising positivity with lyrics, which is a good thing. Thank you for your reaction.
Nemophila ...these ladies are the queens of heavy rock ! they are my favorite lady metal band 100% ! also if you love motivational songs Gacharic Spin is where its at for sure ! check out... I Wish I... for starters since its their most recent song...lyric wise it is very deep ! but all of their songs are amazing!! Gacharic Spin in general is in my top 5 of music/bands in general !

That seemed like it would be the highlight this year but it's a close call for sure! Some of their other tracks they released recently as MVs, such as Blooming, are excellent too, they just don't seem to know what failure is right now.. Their new album is out in December too. :) Preorder available from the usual places... All that said, are you familiar with the fine works of the young ladies known as Hanabie? Check out some "We Love Sweets" or "Riewa Matching Generation" for a little taste of some equally empowering and hard hitting J-Metal, or try L.C.G. for some insane fun. Enjoy!
