Dragoon was heavily weak in early arr. They didn't have magic resistance on their gear like other classes. Maiming had more armor but not magic defense, meaning things like Naels megaflare would kill them straight up even with the best gear. It purely being blood for blood wasn't the issue. In general, after the fix, blood for blood could almost always be used on cooldown, with some exceptions.
I'm super confused by the first story that keeps saying Duty Finder didn't exist for a while when that's a rather blatant lie, it was there from the beginning of ARR. You literally have it the moment you unlock a Guildhest or Satasha. 2.1 even added the roulettes.
Probably was the Duty Finder across the DC, that was horrendous to find people, to be fair the Roulettes were only "low level", "high level", guidhest and Main Scenario if I remember correctly, was easier to farm side quests and FATEs, and rush the dungeons per level, the XP gain was horrible with the roulettes.
Bro the first story guy was a lvl 33 gladiator, he was a certified dumbass so that should tell you everything you need to know about the legitimacy of their claims. S class shitter
I think he means raid finder. When ARR first came out the latest raids were not part of duty finder. You had to go to the entrance to q in with your party. If you played from the start then think back to the higher level town in North Shroud. That might jog your memory. Tons of people group there waiting to q with their statics every week. People complained and it was changed. Though blood for blood was suoer op so I don't know why they laughed at that. That was weird.
In RIFT there was a Quest Giver that was glitched where only one person at a time could hand in the quest, & we had a super long line of players, we even ended up on the front page of a gaming magazine of the time, & I think Attack of the Show! ...or it was G4's gaming show, forget what it was called ...Meeeaaadddd!
It's been how long? And I still vividly recall my Benediction quest. That thing has NEVER been been converted to Anathema. My priest has NEVER gone further into Shadow than grab the +WIL on kill for farming. He had grabbed all the discarded +SPELL stuff nobody wanted because raid gear for priests sucked for farming. I kept the 2-piece mana reg on willpower T2, paired it with other +willpower and +spell procs and I smote and holy fired my way through Silithus with my mana regenerating like the yellow bar on a rogue. And that guy worries he has wasted his time on taming a dinosaur? I min-maxed my way to a build which was only viable in the pre-TBC patch.
I signed up for legendary tier on the website several days ago, I sent an email after not getting the email confirming everything and haven’t heard back. I feel like Floorpov
The first few months of FFXIV so many people had crafting & gathering gear on if it was a higher item level than their combat class items, it was just a bunch of retards, including myself. And a hell of a lot of the abilities / skills tool tips were so crypted, only a few learned the right way to play by taking all of the skill tool tips of the different languages & ran all of them through google translate to try & get a full understanding of what the abilities did.
@@sleepydruid100 I ran it pretty solo, but I'd say the fun came due to being a smaller combat oriented zone, we would just naturally fromm up groups as we cleared encounter after encounter, and then getting access to the critical encounters once you got good at the regular ones. In general I'd say an MMO is at it's best when you have a bunch of people, strangers even. Running around and fighting things. Bozja gave that as dedicated content
I understand that games are more important to some people than keeping a friend but at least to me, I would rather find a way to keep a friend, then lose them over a game.. Good games come and go but good friends are a lot harder to come by.

Party finder was also in at the beginning. It wasn't even cross server, but it was there.

Sometimes you just go Ahab for a few months. No one would have Time-lost Protodrake if not for that
@34:23 caught me off guard
As an exhunter, relatable. I was more after rares like loque. I assumed that was where this was going
18:35 "I honestly started to think was Mavienar playing with a chalk board or some sort of wooden keyboard"? 🤣🤣🤣
The alliance raids absolutely do serve a purpose. Catch up.
I just signed up for the legendary tier on the website. I cannot wait for mike to read my name in a drama story......
So good, just got off work to a new @Drama Time!
if a Gladiator tried to run a dungeon with people that had their soul stones, the GLA would NEVER be able to to hold aggro.
Love Drama Time! Please never stop! !PS5

nice
Dragoon in ARR could get by mechanics during their jumps which could not be animation canceled. It was atrocious.

This is dragoon violence.

I really don´t understand how people like Bozja.
They have friends to play there with.
@@mosley3485 True T_T Now jokes aside. I do too and just didn´t get it. Apart from the raids. Those were fun.

its not as easy as you make it out. If your friend is constantly tarnishing your favorite hobby, at some point, you have to draw a line.
