i have alot of different comfort foods (too many to name) but some of them, spaghetti with ground beef spaghetti sauce (just like taking a thing of prego and mixing really good seasoned ground beef with it), beef & broccoli, american goulash, stroganoff, carne guisada, christmas used to be fine for me, but i lost my mom this year in january 2024 she was 58, im 40, and it literally tore me up and make me feel like crap when my birthday would come and then christmas, without her, we didnt have a great relationship, but it just shattered my heart that christmas came, and she wasnt here to give gifts and i couldnt give gifts to her (i used to spoil her alot even though im on limited income (im disabled) on her birthday (oct 25th) halloween, christmas, mother's day and valentines day. she was cherokee and irish mixed, deep auburn hair (she dyed it ebony black at times, and even a deep brown to bring out her cherokee features of her face (she had high cheekbones, dimples, two different colored eyes (one looked deep chocolate brown, the other, a amber like color) caramel tanned skin, she was a truly beautiful gorgeous scorpio. and it just breaks my heart that i lost her. i told her everyday i loved her, even when i felt she didnt believe it (she wasnt very affectionate) and i would kiss her forehead and hug her. i lost my dad in 1993 when he was 29, from a heart attack (he was irish german) i looked more like him (he had dishwater blonde hair, porcelain skin, cornflour blue eyes) im a strawberry blonde (so like a mix of a redhead (from my mom) & blonde from my dad) gunmetal blue colored eyes, and porcelain skin with freckles. ill try to cook their fave foods and think of them in memory. it's been rough on me but i am tough even though im disabled. im a spicy food lover too like them, i love having jalapenos in my dishes, especially when i make mexican chili, i love shin ramyun black. i love to cook, it makes me happy, especially when it's cooking ethnic foods, desserts, especially if it's chocolate and vanilla cakes and cupcakes. but i have a big list of favorite sweets too. i usually burn incense and light a candle for anyone's birthday and their death day to be respectful and just to remember them.
