6:31 piercing will resolve but you dont actually begin doing the checks until after you resolve all other pending effects. Piercing just allows you to continue the attack flow into the security check path, it doesnt actually check security for you. So right now youre still in "results of battle" step and must resolve everything here before you can move to "end of battle" and then start checking security.
I didn't realize you can evo Luce x on top of the larva, good to see some gameplay of it from my testing it seems too slow to keep up with faster/aggressive decks though. Evo'ing from a 3 to a 5 for 6 memory is not that bad, but having to pay 5 for a level 3 puts you behind
Deck is only slow relating to the ultra aggressive hybrid decks but they're going away next set. As soon as taomon loop starts floating around hybrid decks take a long vacation.
Supreme Connection counts as playing by effect? I didn’t know that either, I will totally be punished too looking at the opponents field, does Biting Crushes were really happy for that LOL
The delay effect of options throws people off when its presented to them as an effect. The discussion came up a lot when Dragon Mode from bt16 was on board.
wouldn't it have been better for the machinedra player to not trigger Tai on chaosdras attacks so that he could crash into the luce forcing ben to trash 2 sec during each attack. 1 from luce protection the other from chaosdra x attempting to be deleted
It's a small thing But at 12:20 he tucks a source above the mindlink tamer. Wouldn't that normally go below it? Kind of important depending on the match up
Am I wrong but I thought we got the rules update that essentially makes Levia deletion “one whole effect” and he’d only have to trash two sources pre whole Levia effect? I mean even in that instance there was two biting crush so still an L but I thought that’s how it worked in JP and we got that rules update a little while ago?
In the past you could only activate a non once per turn protection effect in response to a single effect. Since levia had 2 deletions in a single effect you could not interrupt the second deletion. Now with the new rule change(In effect since august 31st I believe) you can activate non once per turn protection effects in response to each attempt to remove the digimon. So with the new rules machinedramon can trash 4 sources to protect against levia whereas in the past it would trash 2 then die.
Luce is honestly the most balanced of the "unique" decks. It can control the board while burning sec but has ramp up time and if a hyper aggressive deck like the Hybrids get their setup in turn 1 or 2 then chances are you can't keep up. BUT if they're still looking for pieces you can easily take control of the match If I wasn't building Milleniummon I'd build Luce. Playing it in Drasil has been the most fun I've had in a while

Thank you! So I guess they get minus 1 CHET lol
16:30 CHET no. 7
Machinedramon player forgot to place Cyborg/Machine source to ChaosX
ChaosX effect is not optional
You are correct
+1 CHET
Educational, i had no idea about the larva synergy.

I want that Machinedramon decklist!
Always good to see some machinedra brother
6:27 Why does the check go through first before the Leviamon on play? you only progress through attack timings when all effects resolve, right?
No, you're right. I was incorrect there. They resolved that interaction correctly.
Supreme Connection counts as playing by effect? I didn’t know that either, I will totally be punished too looking at the opponents field, does Biting Crushes were really happy for that LOL
Yeah, since the default idea is that it hard drops at a reduced cost, forgetting that that Digimon is being played out by the effect.

That is 100% correct lol he'd also be able to get rid of the collision inherit that kinda rekt him that game.
It's a small thing
But at 12:20 he tucks a source above the mindlink tamer.
Wouldn't that normally go below it? Kind of important depending on the match up
You are correct. I didn't mention it since it doesn't matter in this matchup, but yes it has to be bottom source.
also chaosdra protection doesnt work against leviamon bc it destroys the same target 2 times 6:35
That's incorrect as of August.

So the new update rule you could inturrebt the 1st and 2nd deletion effect ?
That's correct @baderrmn
I thought multiple layers of protections you can't activate? Because wars bt9 grey x can only trigger once?
rule's change lets you activate non-once per turn protections per removal attempt.
Holy shit Bens security game 1
can i get that machinedra profile?
I'll see what I can do 🤌
I'm interested in the Machinedramon list
Don't it's bad
Bro's a hater
Google machinedramon and you will find a more viable purple build from people who have played this deck nonstop.
Another chet. Chaosdramon is hand or trash and it's Red Or Black
I'm not sure what you're referring to. Can you provide a timestamp and clarification?
@@DigiSean37 Hes talking about adding another digisource to chaosx
Lucemon is such an unfair deck. No deck should be able to trash security, recover, and recur from trash like that.
What are talking about, it gets the absolute shit kicked out of it by Imperial, and really any other deck that can rush down early on.
