So guide will look out that no predators or trucks are near then I’d do my business behind truck, I’d have bag to put TP in bag, don’t wanna pollute ofc 🤣did my business 500 yds from lions one time 😱🦁
Oh my gosh YESS!! I wish I had remembered to include this! The bathrooms are the kind where it's just a hole in the ground (so literally might as well be the going in the wilderness), and they're only suitable for peeing, definitely not for #2 😂 I guess you just have to hope you only get that urge while at the lodge! We definitely ended up going behind our truck one time too 🙈
I get UTIs easily so I’ll risk predator attack rather than the excruciating pain of UTIs. Seriously I know guides (esp when they were brave Maasai warriors) would protect me if worse comes so I never got scared
Sorry another reply from me: safaris have ruined zoos for me, joking I still like zoos but nothing like being in the territory of wild animals, most exhilarating experience of my life. Happy traveling Kelsey, I’m new sub
It really is so different! I had a couple people joke with me as I was leaving for my safari, like "can't you just see those animals in a zoo here? Why go all that way?" It's hard to explain why, but it is just so exciting and so much more special to see them out in the wild!! I enjoyed the series and felt it was authentic, may I ask you couple of questions. If we were to return to one of these parks again Amboseli, Masai mara, Ngorungoro and Sarengeeti. Which one would you pick and if there is order of preference you may have and is Amboseli appeared small in reality

Are you talking about paving the roads? I definitely don’t think they should be! It would probably be horrible for the animals to pave the roads in the national parks - I’m just saying that people should be mentally prepared for it 👍🏻
