Now i am with 4th date dating for 3 months we haven’t spoke anything relate to my Wira. Plan to propose soon. If it goes well I thank my Wira for being my gold digger repeller.

My dad had an old diesel-powered Wira. Thing lasted 12 years. Sure at one point the repair costs were more expensive than the car itself. Sure the fumes were blacker than the smoke coming out of forest fires. Sure it got so loud you'd have to shout or it got so hot in the car it was like being in a sauna or both. But it was an awesome car and totally not marred by my nostalgia in any way, shape or form.
When I lived in KL as an diplomatic family (I was a young teenager) a large proportion of us drove protons. We weren't going to be there for more than a few years, so no one wanted to pay a lot to rent or buy a car. We tended to just buy them off each other for cheap. I never found any issue with it personally. It ran fine for us, including with long road trips (thanks to my father taking the "scenic route" to penang, meaning we took 8 bloody hours).

What it DOESN'T have is a tachometer, and the speedo doesn't work. OH, and the NOISE CANCELLATION TECHNOLOGY has been further improved in the form of a custom exhaust system, so that's nifty I would say
I remembered taking my 1.5i manual to the Sepang track for 9 laps. A last fling after collecting the deposit to sell it. It had a happy tail. Lift off oversteers are a pure joy!

One more features of proton wira it has Cruise control...which the drivers do not need to press accrelator when they activated it at 60 km and above...it helped the drivers able to rest their feet...when they are takin a long trip on the traffic free highways
Number plate WPU, I absolutely believe it's from 2008, given it changes the middle letter every couple months.. not sure what's the latest plate out there now. Also, I saw a number of anti-theft comments. So I can be sure the vehicle I drive won't be stolen, because manual. 🤣🤣🤣 But honestly, the most unbelievable part of this review, is that the window works... Proton windows are notorious for taking 10x longer to open and close, to the point that if we go through toll gate, need to open the door. No joke. 100% serious.
On a quick note, should i buy wira as my first car? Im interested in modifying my wira if i can get one. Not doing it too much, just a simple modification and an engine swap would be nice. Give me some interesting comments and feedbacks
This Jason looks so familiar 😂. Am a wira driver myself (wife's car). Wira is a tough guy/woman, which ever you prefer. Still daily ours to work everyday. Annoying rat noises here and there, but hey! They are reliable. 😂
I still have my proton wira. It serve me tremendously. 1.5 is the best, gas milage for manual is just above kancil. Before there were myvi's wira was the champion. Just look at how many wira is still on the road compared to civic ferio or toyota seg of that year. None. And parts is also easy to find even in the jungle. If you cannot find the parts can put other brand car parts as replacement.

My 2006 Saga have anti theft technology. U can only open the driver door from the inside. No need to look the driver side. 👍
