Turns out the "remodeling" was our neighbor building a small haunted house attraction in her backyard. It was pretty dope.

I guess they figured it'd be creepy enough knowing regardless of how cheerful it may be, It's still IT's theme and I can't help but feel the malicious intent behind it all.
I love this miniseries so much It’s 100000% better than the 2017 remake and also the second best Stephen King adaptation behind The Shining and In front of Cujo
Totally agree with you, Tim Curry did a great job on Pennywise, they wanted to make the new It scarier and in fact they managed to do so every now and then but it doesn't have the same magical vibe as the original from 1990

I think what makes Tim Curry's Pennywise unsettling is that he looks very much like an ordinary clown. Bill Skarsgård's version looks like an abomination of a demon/clown hybrid that doesn't seem to try to hide its imposing nature.
