How can people forget the first half an hour and call this hilarious. Imagine ur husband insulting you at every step, snatching what belongs to you and giving it to a woman who hangs on to his arm all the time and claiming him. Loved the bickering between the two lead characters. Couldn't help rolling in laughter. This is an old reload but watching it again due to the Lead actors. Meng Na(FL) is also good at comedy."Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" befits the drama theme

ML and FL have serious communication issues. I blame this on the ML for letting the SFL hang on him and have the opportunity to hurt the FL. Any man should realize that letting another woman touch you all over in public, in front of your wife, is a really bad idea. ML was too stupid he was at fault for this. In the end, he claims a valid reason for spending time with the SFL, but spending time isn't the same as grabbing his arms and hands. He should've stopped that and he didn't, so he created the problems. Even when FL asks him, he doesn't give an answer. Then, he dares to get mad because she doesn't just mystically know he isn't having sex with the SFL.
Finally the ex husband explained to her. Bai Fangwen is a great actor. I've seen him in other dramas. In this drama, don't know why the writers always have the guys get "sterilized".
I had just watch it and enjoyed it much not a heavy drama, quite funny actually😂

1) When he said " send from a customer" for some reason reminds me the classic " i have a friend"......if you know what i mean, 2) when she became the leader of this marriage and say no and divorce, he thought that he lost his power, 3) i smile every time he is jealous, 4) is not the first movie i see but for sure is better from other versions and 5) i really hate ads all the time........
I had to have a chuckle, at 2 hrs 20 mins, they buy a delicious Sandwich Bun at a Street Stall.... he takes a bite she takes a bite, it starts to pour rain, she throws the bun on the table and they run tobthe shelter of a nearby building. THE FOOD! They LEFT the food!

Actually, that child belonged to his cousin, Mr. Mo. The girl had leukemia and needed bone marrow, in which the 2FL had. He did everything in his power to satisfy her so she could donate to the little girl. Because of this, the FL misunderstood her as his mistress, being prego, and FL abandonment from her husband.
No matter the explanation, he should have told Mo he had a daughter. 7 years??? I won't forgive. These plots get annoying every single time. Sometimes a good beginning, atrocious ending or a lot of abuse. Very few great ones. They need to have an intervention for the writers.

this was a novel ive read online, the girl suppose to be a strong one, not a pale weak one. also the male lead is just soso here. the novel potrays him as a rich, powerful, tall and handsome.

The first half hour does not fit the rest of the drama. Really. It's like an alternate universe suddenly.
I found this to be very entertaining. I would watch anything this male lead was in. It is interesting how a series of misunderstandings lead to such a complicated drama. To think that if the ML had told her the truth about her condition after the car accident, then none of the rest of the story would have happened. He wasn't being cruel though that is how it came off to most people. He was trying to protect his wife and took the most convoluted and ridiculous way to go about it.
I see some of y’all didn’t watch the movie till the end to understand it at all.
Except from the part he thinks he's all mighty and don't treat her not how you should treat your wife. When they bicker they are hilarious. I love how the FL can stand up against him and showed him she's not a push over.
But the bickering is really fun to watch. He hurt her more then needed. If he explained or let the doctor talk about her medical condition instead of not telling. Also hidding the child wasn't necessary just tell the truth etc. Those misunderstanding wouldn't rule their marriage if he was honest, transparent and talk to the FL in a normal way.
Also being alergic to condoms you also have them without latex.

Many are confused when it comes to forgiveness... It's okay to forgive, it's not easy and that's why it takes time, but that's how the healing process starts. You're forgiving the other for your sake... not for theirs. The thing ppl(mostly victims) don't realize or understand is that forgiveness doesn't mean "stay" or "go back." That's a decision you chose to make💯

This ML actor never fails to disappoint. It's a pity though that in a few of these dramas lately, you can actually hear the prompters giving direction off camera. Production values need to keep getting better.

I found this really amusing. The ML expressions, so funny. While the script writers made him out to be cold and unfeeling toward his wife, he is nowhere near as bad as some of the men in other dramas. Having said that, he still was guilty of ignoring his wife, spending time with, and defending another woman, and a couple of times, getting a little rough with his wife. Chinese script writers are always putting women down with mental and physical abuse.

This is the better version of this drama. They did a good job of providing backstory that we normally don't see. I do like that in this one, FL married straight from school so didn't have much job history beyond writing scripts -- which apparently were amazing. ML is just clueless and has no idea how to be a husband, just wanted FL.
The drama as a whole does give a bad message, absolutely but this drama certainly handled the script the best I think.
