Unfortunately your kitty is trying to tell you that she is very uncomfortable and she is mad about her home being invaded by the dog. If she is older and hasn't lived with other animals then her feelings are normal and expected. That's been her home and family but now she feels unsettled. That's why she arches her back at the dog, and eventually she may actually try to scratch or bite at the pup. Peeing on your bed is her way of telling you she expects you to make it better. You may have to move her litter box to another room and keep her out of your room. But she may start peeing somewhere else, sadly it's an emotional reaction to her situation. She just needs love and patience. 💜
Maybe the cat won’t ever accept the dog and please Diane, make sure she doesn’t pull her hair cause of stress. She as always an only pet. She literally hates the dog in her territory. Sorry but I feel for the cat.🙏🙏🙏😺❤️😢❌⭕️. She may never stop peaking or marking the walls or anything she can mark. You’re n trouble with her issues with the dog. Please never giver her away?😺🙏❤️🥰

I grew up with German Shepherds. Wonderful and smart dogs. Destructive though if they get bored. I taught mine all sorts of tricks. Great protector for family. Watch the squeaky toy. Mine would take squeaky out and give it to me, lol. I guess it annoyed her. Those are the same treats we used to buy. Our last one passed a couple of years ago and we are just not ready yet. She was 16 years old. I love Dollar Tree and you always find great things. I'm getting ready to go myself since watching your video lol. I need to get grandbabies some Valentine's gifts. 🌹❤️

Im in Texas too. I rarely catch any of the good stuff at my Dollar Tree. We have 2 cats and brought a German Shepherd into the family. Took a lil bit, but they are friends now. Play together everyday. We're looking to get another German Shepherd so she'll have a friend her size to play with. Lol.. Abby is soo adorable in your videos. I have 5 grandchildren. He is a cat expert here on RUclips. The reason your cat is doing that is definitely because of the dog. I'm sure he addresses that in one of his videos to tell you what you can do. Maybe for now, get a shower curtain to throw over the top of your bed so that if Daisy gets up there to pee, it'll stay on the shower curtain and not get on your bed covering. If she's not used to having another animal around, she is very stressed about it. You said she is an older cat, and cats just don't adjust as well as other dogs will. I’ve never had a cat do that (wetting) and they will hiss and curl up back at a new addition. I would put her litterbox back. Unless u moved because of the puppy. Or show her the litterbox in your bedroom. She will stop hissing at some point. By the way, Abby is so cute!!! I love seeing her❤
Any kind of change for a cat can set them off. I have the sweetest cat ever but if I leave her for too long when I come home she will literally sit on me and bite me not real hard then let go. I’ve heard peeing is their way of rebelling. Abby is adorable. Thank you for sharing it’s hard when you have a house full to film. I have the same issue. Much love. ❤️😊

You brought in a smelly four legged! First, I would make a vet appt, to rule out any urine infection. If that is clear, then here may be the reason, your kitty thinks of you as a safety net, and what smells most like you, than your bedding? Anxiety and stress can definelty make the cat pee on the bed, also kitties like privacy, was the kitty box in a pretty secluded area? Moved into the open bedroom? My Dizzy, blonde cat, made my little dog aware who is the ruler of the roost from the very first day. Now they play together, chase each other, Turbo, will do the bow pose to let the cat know he wants to play, Dizzy does the sideways scooch, to let Turbo know he is ready to play. Funniest thing I have seen in a long time. These two have some odd behavior. The cat can not get near my chair, or Turbo goes into psycho mode! The other day, my friend brought her dog over, and lo and behold, her dog can not get near me or her!! Thought I was gonna die when Turbo went nuclear on her dog, by her!! Gotta love them!! Your cat will get used to the pup, but the pup is probably irritating right now

You’ve talked about weaning Abby off her passy here’s what worked for my daughter. She rounded with the help of her daughter everything in the house her daughter said was for babies and not big girls and the put it in a box and wrapped it up like a present. Then they took it to someone that had a baby and then my granddaughter gave the present to the baby. My daughter talked to her friend before hand. They opened the box and of course the friend told he or oood and ahhhhed about how much the baby would like this stuff and what a big girl she was to be giving the baby such a nice present.then they went home. That night before bed when she asked for her passy my daughter reminded her where it was. ( no hold outs) they were all gone. She asked if an extra hug and cuddle would work instead. she said after reminding her the baby needed that stuff for a couple days she never asked again. She did come and ask for a big girl hug now and again though. You asked for suggestions so there’s one that worked for my daughter and granddaughter
My daughter had bad acne on her face I used soda make a paste rinse then rinse again with vinegar and water mixture started clearing up and of course like teens she quit it was helping. Read it in my cosmetology book.

Hi Diane, great haul! I was wondering how much you paid for those stuffed peep pillows. I went to my dollar tree and they don’t have any, never got any in. That’s are really nice sized ones. I wanted to put them in my grands baskets. I looked online and the darn things cost like $20, I need 5 and not going to pay that , lol . I’m going to try a couple more dollar trees around here and see if I can find them.

It just takes time for them to adjust to each other my cat was raised with 3 dogs the first year of her life she thinks she is a German shepherd and loves to play fetch just be patient with her
Poor Daisy, I hope she gets used to the new puppy... You might want to just keep her in your bedroom instead of just letting them roam together. Maybe let them see each other just for a little bit at a time, I had to do that with my two cats.
If you have to wash anything that A cat or animal has gone on As in Peed on Adda little bit of lemon juice and Baking soda to your Wash From personal experience I had an afghan that That happened to and Just washing , it didn't take it out , but adding a little bit of lemon juice Did and you couldn't smell it at all
I’m feeling bad for the kitty. Shepherds are awesome but, the cat was there first and it’s her home and also by you moving her things she isn’t happy. She might even start pulling her fur out or licking her fur off of her body from lots of stress. That isn’t good. Cats don’t like change and you should know that. Let them slowly get to know each other. Maybe move the litter box to another room. I have one kitty make sure litter box is clean.

I’ve never had a cat do that (wetting) and they will hiss and curl up back at a new addition. I would put her litterbox back. Unless u moved because of the puppy. Or show her the litterbox in your bedroom. She will stop hissing at some point. By the way, Abby is so cute!!! I love seeing her❤

Any kind of change for a cat can set them off. I have the sweetest cat ever but if I leave her for too long when I come home she will literally sit on me and bite me not real hard then let go. I’ve heard peeing is their way of rebelling. Abby is adorable. Thank you for sharing it’s hard when you have a house full to film. I have the same issue. Much love. ❤️😊

Hi, I use a water proof sheet on the top and I only have to change one sheet. If they have an accident you could put it underneath and only wash too if you want it pretty

Save these videos, as Abby grows these will become some of your best memories to look back on, and Abby will love watching them!! They grow so fast. Poor kitty, she is not happy! You brought in a smelly four legged! First, I would make a vet appt, to rule out any urine infection. If that is clear, then here may be the reason, your kitty thinks of you as a safety net, and what smells most like you, than your bedding? Anxiety and stress can definelty make the cat pee on the bed, also kitties like privacy, was the kitty box in a pretty secluded area? Moved into the open bedroom? My Dizzy, blonde cat, made my little dog aware who is the ruler of the roost from the very first day. Now they play together, chase each other, Turbo, will do the bow pose to let the cat know he wants to play, Dizzy does the sideways scooch, to let Turbo know he is ready to play. Funniest thing I have seen in a long time. These two have some odd behavior. The cat can not get near my chair, or Turbo goes into psycho mode! The other day, my friend brought her dog over, and lo and behold, her dog can not get near me or her!! Thought I was gonna die when Turbo went nuclear on her dog, by her!! Gotta love them!!

I would try first to move litter box back and if that doesn’t work then she’s p off and telling you get the puppy out of this house lol.hopefully she’ll get used to the puppy.Abby is a cutie pie.💖💖

Hi Diane, South Africa is beautiful, especially Cape Town. Great tourist destination. We don’t have Walmart’s or any Dollar Stores. The closest I can think of would be our Clicks or Dischem. Not the same variety you have in USA, stuff here is expensive🙃❤️❤️❤️❤️

You’ve talked about weaning Abby off her passy here’s what worked for my daughter. She rounded with the help of her daughter everything in the house her daughter said was for babies and not big girls and the put it in a box and wrapped it up like a present. Then they took it to someone that had a baby and then my granddaughter gave the present to the baby. My daughter talked to her friend before hand. They opened the box and of course the friend told he or oood and ahhhhed about how much the baby would like this stuff and what a big girl she was to be giving the baby such a nice present.then they went home. That night before bed when she asked for her passy my daughter reminded her where it was. ( no hold outs) they were all gone. She asked if an extra hug and cuddle would work instead. she said after reminding her the baby needed that stuff for a couple days she never asked again. She did come and ask for a big girl hug now and again though. You asked for suggestions so there’s one that worked for my daughter and granddaughter
My daughter had bad acne on her face I used soda make a paste rinse then rinse again with vinegar and water mixture started clearing up and of course like teens she quit it was helping. Read it in my cosmetology book.

Hi Diane, great haul! I was wondering how much you paid for those stuffed peep pillows. I went to my dollar tree and they don’t have any, never got any in. That’s are really nice sized ones. I wanted to put them in my grands baskets. I looked online and the darn things cost like $20, I need 5 and not going to pay that , lol .
I’m going to try a couple more dollar trees around here and see if I can find them.

It just takes time for them to adjust to each other my cat was raised with 3 dogs the first year of her life she thinks she is a German shepherd and loves to play fetch just be patient with her
Poor Daisy, I hope she gets used to the new puppy... You might want to just keep her in your bedroom instead of just letting them roam together. Maybe let them see each other just for a little bit at a time, I had to do that with my two cats.

If you have to wash anything that A cat or animal has gone on As in Peed on Adda little bit of lemon juice and Baking soda to your Wash From personal experience I had an afghan that That happened to and Just washing , it didn't take it out , but adding a little bit of lemon juice Did and you couldn't smell it at all

I’m feeling bad for the kitty. Shepherds are awesome but, the cat was there first and it’s her home and also by you moving her things she isn’t happy. She might even start pulling her fur out or licking her fur off of her body from lots of stress. That isn’t good. Cats don’t like change and you should know that. You’re such a trooper, I have a 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter and wow it takes a lot of energy 😂. Abbey is so cute. Yes I’ve had a couple of cats that peed on my bed, one did if I didn’t let him out when he wanted. Hopefully your cat will get used to the dog and stop being angry with you because it’s really awful!
