Ooo I’m very excited to see this mod! I very much appreciate having a Pokémon on the title screen like the classic games. I can tell from the title screen alone it’s going to be brimming with a lot of love and creativity; it’s such a cool screen, and the dark shading on Mewtwo was an awesome touch. (Is part of the reason you picked Mewtwo because you love purple? I wouldn’t be surprised at all!)
It's a mod that principally replaces Link with Red (Randomizer compatible), and adds various Pokemon and other characters, as items, NPCs, enemies and such. There will be a 1.0 release soon, probably next month at the latest.
I’m curious; how will the battle system work? Is it just reskinned and Red is going to hack at Pokémon with a sword, or is there some sort of capturing mechanic? Either way, this looks amazing!
How I made the title screen? It would be a little complicated to explain in detail, but it is mainly model editing, a lot of texturing, hex editing and camera editing.
@@InktheImpassive I'm not too sure what you need to know exactly, how the process differs between 2D and 3D when it comes to modding? Or do you just want more context on the mod? You can see a little bit of it in my community posts; it is another Wind Waker mod like my Ashley one, with a Pokémon theme.
I can tell you’ve been out of ideas lately. Either that, or this is gonna be a very, very different type of hack. Either way, I was just thinking about this channel this morning and this return after about 2 months is kinda tense. But as always, keep the good work, well... working.
Out of ideas how? The lack of upload is mainly because these take a lot of work to do, weeks to months, and also because I have a personal life to take care of and needed a break. I pour all my heart into each video and always think a lot about how to make things work and how to entertain others. I also have over 30 projects in the works so I'm definitely not running out of ideas anytime soon. :) Just remember that I'm a single person with not a lot of free time, I do these things on the side whenever I can.
@BigSharkZ By out of ideas, I meant stuff that you would usually make for fun, like smash montages. I don’t think it takes that long, but depending on how many clips you have and which ones you want to add in, yeah, that’s gonna take a while. But besides that, I hope you enjoyed you Christmas and make sure you don’t overwork yourself on this.
