Cherry Blossom and Kite Festival

We had a great time visiting the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C. with trees in peak bloom. Some older trees are dying from rising tidal basin water levels, but newer cherry trees by the Roosevelt, King, and World War 2 monuments are spectacular. We loved seeing the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival on the mall.
