clyde aikau and john florence in same heat-what could better. i love that john is not just hanging on and sliding down==he is really surfing the wave. so great to be able to watch these heats over and over.

The Eddie requires 60 foot swell... which translates larger by shore. However these waves look smaller, no?
Most buoy readings on Eddie days this contest and the one in 2023 have been in the 20-25foot range at 15-18 seconds. This was probably a slightly smaller day than the 2023 contest but still huge conditions

Data inserts-- 88.9FM message sent-- ALT KARLSBAD! You royally, screwed up! Bars-- disease(dis= food dish, as=fire cooks, e= enemy or, your enemy.) That means: plenty of finger prints-- new age = worlock!
The missing 5 minutes between that you cut out at about 11:30 should be cause for termination to whomever decided that was a good idea. That 5 minutes between 11:30 and about 6 minutes left in the heat was frantic and needed. Your tiny little clips of that entire section elsewhere do NOTHING to bring the emotion, they're disjointed and a struggle to watch. So totally disappointed with wsl on how they have handled this footage of such an iconic event. The videos are cut terrible, and the replays are too choppy with critical moments and emotion removed. Boo.
