- Today I am transforming my messy outdated office and turning it into a beautiful craft room! I added board and batten to the walls as well as a gorgeous wallpaper from Joanna Gaines' Magnolia collection. I furnished it with pieces I flipped and added some decor!

For the curtains you might could use curtain rings with clips on them and that would add length If you want Just a thought

To help organise the ribbon you could attach curtain rods or tension poles to the inside of the carrier and thread the roles of ribbon and twine on to the poles, this would keep the rolls in place and be less messy!
Love the room!! Love that wallpaper & especially paired with board & batten. You should put more of that wallpaper on the back wall of the closet to bring it all together.

Add metal curtain clip rings to the curtains. It usually brings it down far enough to be acceptable. Buy a color to match the rods.

I don't know if you like real plants in pots are not. A "Prayer Plant" & an "Olive Tree" potted and put in the corner by your storage chest; and between your bench & your corner cabinet would look great. Plus it helps with keeping the air clean in your home, and would bring in some more green to accent your wallpaper. Your room looks wonderful! Really envious of having a dedicated craft room. You and your husband do excellent work together.

I have an idea to lengthen your curtains, take the stitches out of your rod pocket and steam out the fold lines, add a similar fabric to make a new pocket for the rod, or maybe ties for the rod. or hooks.

For ribbon storage putting a wooden dowel through the center of each and ribbon/ twine to hang each end of the dowel could be cute and easy to cut and use your ribbon. I always love you room makeovers though💗

I don't think the wallpaper looks busy at all. I think it looks great. It's so funny how wallpaper is coming back. I remember in my last house HOURS of removing wallpaper. Of course, it was in the country blue style. I like the vintage pieces as well. I had to laugh at your label maker. We had those in school when I was growing up, lol.

I love that table! I have a small table like that with the green patina. I have my water pitcher and spaghetti bowl made by wattware on it. I also left the patina on my table. I am so glad that I did. You did a marvelous job darling! And I cannot wait to see the video with all the little treasures that you have❤️ I found this gorgeous telephone table right by our recycling bin I just washed it off and polished it the seat was actually done in a stripe fabric that was beautiful. I just washed everything down and it’s sitting in my living room against the wall in the hallway as you walk in.

I would just add some matching ribbon or fabric strips to the top of the curtain and tie them to the rod to make them the length you want.

For your curtains you can use drapery curtain clips with rings. It will add about 3 inches to the length.

Everything that you work on always turns out so cute and airy and cozy-making! The table is such a lucky find. You're right, the patina and shabbiness of the table is so pretty! A easy way to make the curtains longer is to sew lace to the bottom of the fabric. Leave the curtain lace on top of it, for a layered look that will still match the lace on the sides.

Looks amazing, great job. The curtains would drive me mad if they don’t touch the floor, but that’s just me. If you put a pin at the end of your ribbon it won’t unravel. 👍🥰

Try selecting a font in a large type to print the totes labels on colored paper or card stock. That will allow you to fill the label window with a more finished look. No need for a cricut for such a small task. Also, clip curtain rings will help lengthen your curtain panels. Great furniture finds.. you did a beautiful job!

You could sew extra lace on the hem. The room is pretty....you could also put thicker plexi glass on top of table for a smooth surface to work on.

How cool!! & Connor does his work on the dining room table because he likes it over there better, I used to do my work in the office but my desktop was old and stopped working. I had to get a new computer so I opted for a laptop instead and now do all my work outside or when it's cold I like to cuddle up with Wilbur and work! I always felt trapped working in that room haha! But since it's a craft room now I find myself in there all the time working on little projects!
Our Little Nest that‘s so nice that Connor has a spot on the house where he feels comfortable! I totally feel you! I got rid of my desk, too. Bought a ... secretary desk? Like a tiny desk that can be shut close? I don‘t know if that‘s the correct word in English... I had a big desk right in front of my window and it took up so much space. I turned my billy book cases and the „secretary“ into a desk build in a bookcase and now have a bench under the window instead. The room feels so much more airy and open-space now. Not so trapped with that big desk and office chair I had before! Btw, you‘ve got mail on Insta. I found something in my grandma‘s house you may like (or not 😅🤪🙈)

Watching you wallpaper I think you put the wallpaper on upside down .I think the roll should be on the bottom of the piece when you holding it up. not the top? If you get what I mean! Probably why you couldn’t get a match! Looks great tho 😊👍
I hear friction on your drawers, try some soap or wax as a lubricator, pretty sure that's what the old folks did :)
Always give your new curtains 24hrs as they can drop a little.
