Keeping the Eliza over Elistra or Rag was so bad imo. It's a +6/+3 combat only buff as opposed to controlling attacks or permanent scaling with Rag (if he had played Rag and just the elementals he already had in his hand, he would have buffed more than +6/+3). Rag scaling Elistra is doubly good! Doesn't matter when you have god highroll I guess

I've seen a 48 on stream before. I think it was dog after an early khadgar turn when he just crammed his board with random sixes and none died

I like how he talks about reality land and struggling for 7th place then gets the giga nuts. Unfortunately watching a lot of battlegrounds on youtube seriously damages your idea of how the game is supposed to go on average. I watch dog, zalae, and firebat near daily and it's warped my idea of how the game is supposed to go. I see dog regularly power level to 5 in a lobby that isn't buying very many units and find a win con in a single turn after hitting 5. Meanwhile I power to 5 and waste my gold rolling junk bots or shit that barely improves my board so i start taking 10-15 hits and die in 2 turns. Yes I do high roll and find win cons a reasonable amount, and I also die early and explode a reasonable amount. People can try to tell me that I don't play for the situation best like they do. I'm not as good as they are, not by a long shot. But their constant winning montages just make the loss screen feel that much more frustrating.
My most frustrating 7th place was a reno game where I had powered to 5 and found 2 khadgars and got brann's blessing. All I needed to do was find a single token in a game with both murlocs and beasts in. I spent 10 gold and sold my whole board except the khad + golden khad and didn't find either. A single token would've stabilized me. Two tokens would've secured the game.
Yeah reality land sucks. Reality is being on the other side of this game several times in a row and dieing randomly. High mmr is fun because I've faced dog and a ton of other streamers, but it sucks because you die on turn 8. I've literally died on turn 6 (8 gold) this patch.
This is why people make greedy plays. They yearn for this kind of payoff.
