How do you drag click on razer viper ambidextrous ultralight, I recently bought grip tape from razer but I’m still having trouble drag clicking, if you can make a video tutorial, that would be great, Thanks :)
as I explain in the video-the "debounce" (not really debounce since opticals switches don't have it) or artificial delay prevents high amounts of clicks within short periods of time. hence drag clicking won't yield good results
razer has implemented the switches in the mouse in a way, where no form of unintended clicking is possible. So it's made like this on purpose. to be fair this is an fps shooter gaming mouse and drag clicking can only be useful in minecraft so to be fair i'd rather have this than a broken ass double clicking mouse from logitech
Razer's optical switches solves a problem called "unintentional double clicking" which is an issue with the mechanical switch (eroded metal contacts, deformed contacts, etc), debouncing software, or electric circuitry (improper current or voltage). Minecraft players' "double clicking" isn't really based off the flaws of a mechanical switch, but rather its a tapping motion-> resulting in the mouse top shell/ button bouncing up and down twice to create two physical clicks really close to each other. Logitech had* (fixed in gpro superlight) that unintentional double clicking problem because they undervolted/ did not provide enough wetting current... and also they used improperly specced switches (switches that wouldn't not handle the gaming scenario- whether it be FPS or mc). With high debounce, "minecraft double clicking" does not register and any potential "unintentional double clicking" is filtered out.
@@voisez TLDR: logitech double clicking on mice is not the same as minecraft double clicking. Entirely different concepts. Razer's optical switch fixes the logitech double clicking issue but as a result, filters out minecraft double clicks-making people think that all the double clicking stuff is related and stems from the same source (aka crappy switches or flawed mechanical switch)
Greetings Tesla. Razer has released what I personally consider to be a "new generation" of optical mice. The thing is, I was able to get drag-clicking reports on the Razer Viper V2 Pro some time after its release in my region, with an employee. Now that I realize a shortcoming of the Bloody A70 (it can't be held with a dry hand), I find myself looking for a mouse that has been officially released in my region, that meets my main needs: detect drag-clicking without presenting unwanted clicks (ideally with 0ms debounce time [or at least without the 27ms mask]), such as those caused by electrical bouncing in a mechanical mouse, and palm-grip it conveniently. I ask you to please inform us of the detection of the latest Razer mice. I would appreciate any action on this.
Unfortunately, I am not in the r/mousereview community anymore (and haven't been in it for a year and a half) and don't plan to make videos as well. In the past, I bought many many mice for my viewers, but atlas, I am done
I can't really recc mice anymore as a lot of it comes down to personal preference (learned behavior) and ROM (range of movement)... which I can't exactly comment on as I haven't tried mice with that many different shapes
you can use scotch tape and apply it to ur mouse (like sticking it on and removing it so the residue is left). only thing is that the sticky part wears off after a few drags (so apply accordingly)
the mouse isnt terrible just because it cant click high cps the mouse is insane for jitter is wasnt made for double clicking if anything it wasnt supposed to double click
@@AkumaW that is basically the a70 (like firmware wise) but it is still not specifically* made for double clicking... it may be marketed so, but they didn't change it so that it double clicks better (b/c texture doesn't matter with double clicking)
to be honest i prefer the redragon m711 cobra for minecraft pvp and drag clicking it costs around the same price it long drags about 21 cps which is decent
@@Boyten88 I have the endgame gear xm1r, it's pretty good but my problem it's that in others games like GD for example I don't feel the click so good for do precise clicks although they are responsive, sometimes it feels mushy but i saw others reviews and feedback that they are so crispy but It was not my case, my old broken g203 (modded with 8.0 kailh switches) feels better but that mouse recieved so much punishment for 5 years of use. The Fantech Crypto vx7 is the best budget gaming mouse for drag, butterfly and jitter clicking

I have the Razer and It work good for dragclicking
Hey, Tesla can you you tell about the keyboard and mouse pad which you are using in this video?

Also the bouncing is not electrical but physical in a mouse with mechanical switches (exacerbated by deformed contact, poor switch design, etc)
The latest Razer mice most likely won't have high cps capabilities due to that artificial "debounce" or mask; they haven't really planned to change it
I can't really recc mice anymore as a lot of it comes down to personal preference (learned behavior) and ROM (range of movement)... which I can't exactly comment on as I haven't tried mice with that many different shapes
I subjectively regret your departure, and I thank you for the feedback.
what was that purple and black texture pack?
actually I don't remember- been a while since I played mc

Rebirth?
Man I need a mouse with good precise click but also one that has good sensor and decent dpi, maybe 10 cps for me is enough even constant 8cps.
I mean thats pretty much all mice (except the random cheap 20 mice offbrand from amazon)
how do u want to achieve ur 10cps? jitter? drag? like for example-> razer viper can achieve 12-14 cps jittering but like 4-6cps drag clicking
endgame gear mice is pretty good too like xm2 stuff since they have debounce stuff or newer roccat mice
lots of options as most mice today have good sensors (again except off brand stuff from amazon)
