Completely agree with this list, I've played dozens of games as of now and my only loss was against a cursed pirate. She is brutal.
Hey thanks for the Dice Throne video. There aren't many DT creators on youtube so it's always great to see someone talking about the game. I've now played every character and the only one I don't quite get is Tactician. He kind of feels like he was specifically made for team games with his targeted status and Carpet Bomb hitting two opponents.
One thing I love about DT is it's simple enough that I can play it with my 11yr old nephew and 9yr old niece but there is enough expression in the different characters that everyone has a favorite. My nephew prefers the slower characters like Loki, Paladin, and Seraph, but I love to just hit hard with Pyro, Barbarian, Captain Marvel, and Santa. Both me and my nephew think that Tactician sucks, but you love the character. It's so cool that they took a simple concept like yahtzee and gave it extra flavor so we can all find our own way to play.
Automatic captions are hilarious, they pick up every um in the video. Gotta watch this with captions and no sound since I'm in a public place without headphones on rn
Love playing the Tactician, he's also one of my favorites. I will say, if you get yourself a strong enough opening hand and an opening roll and you can land a turn 1/2 Ultimate, you are just in such a better position than working your way up to it. Now you have targeted on them, you've converted some TA to cards or CP, and you're stocked up ready to push for another Ultimate.
That being said, god I wish Strategize was the base ability instead of Carpet Bomb. What a garbage ability LMAO.
I've played since OG Season 1 but haven't played a game of DT in probably a year or more now. After watching this I feel I really have to get back into it! Thanks for the vid my dude

Your mean comment, as requested: I don’t think that moon elf is better than Seraph in every way. The one issue that moon elf has is that she has to slam into her opponent’s defense every turn. Seraph doesn’t have that issue. In a practical sense, though, I agree that it wouldn’t make any sense to play Seraph over Moon Elf unless you want a better shot against Cursed Pirate.
PS are you considering doing hero deep dives? I'd watch them all!

Great video man! It is so cool to see tier list of heroes made by someone with real experience! For the Thor tho, in my country Marvel sets came out later than original version (a half of the year before from now) and they included updated leaflets for Spiderman and Thor so I played a ton of "balanced" Thor against all heroes and I have to say - he is still an S character but not as powerfull as Pirate or Thief. While Thor was literally obliterating the whole cast of characters now he is just really strong hero. Still S in my opinion but definitelly bottom of it because of his weaker card draw. And then, Pirat and Thief are two heroes that feel like cheating while piloting them against 95% of the characters so thats not a surprise that now they have much easier time with him! Waiting for more vids!!

@@ot-slice295 it changes a huge amount! Individual hero power becomes less important.
One biggest change I can immediately state is that Seraph and Barb jump to at least B easily. Seraph because of damage avoidance and status removal; and Barb for the possibility of two players collaborating for a 1 turn stuck lock elimination (it’s happened to me before!)
@@shadesonbroadway yeah interesting, this is what I’ve found also. It seems that, like you said, power influences less, as the 3 or 4 player environment has a way of naturally balancing out the life totals and advantages people might have. Thanks for the response!
