1783年、国王ルイ16世は猟場の延長としてランブイエ城を購入しました。夫の訪問に同行した王妃マリー・アントワネットは城を見て激怒したそうです。その後は、ルイ16世の機転でお気に入りになりますが。
そんなランブイエ城はもともと1368年にさかのぼる要塞化された邸宅でした。
ルイ16世に購入された後、フランス革命時には荒廃します。
ナポレオン1世や3世、その後も時代に翻弄され所有者が入れ替わったランブイエ城は1896年から2009年までフランス大統領の夏の離宮でした。

【ヨーロッパ散策紀行・オーシャン727-】
今年6月で在仏丸22年になりました。
昨年までは仕事の関係でフランス近隣国を訪れることが多かったので、「ヨーロッパ散策」としていましたが、最近はパリ及びパリ周辺の観光地情報や話題が中心です。
特に美術関連が趣味ですが、今後は幅広い話題も取り上げていきたいと思っています。

I visited this not big, but historically famous, castle one year ago. King François the first died there in 1547. Also many of the world's political celebrities and royals from contemporary history were invited to this castle, which belongs to the French Republic.
It seems you did not visit Marie-Antoinette's beautiful dairy (7:40) , donated by her husband Louis XVI and located a few hundred meters away, on the other side of the pond?

Yes, I visited two historical fabrics in the garden, which greatly impressed me!
