My Ex Boyfriend had a stoma and we did festivals all the time. He used to contact the festival before we booked and see if they have any medical toilets and some give you a special pass which basically let’s you use all the staff and backstage/ medical toilets so it was a lot easier and cleaner. So it is possible x
Disabled facilities at festivals open them up to so many people, not just for people with stomas. My mother had/has severe arthritis in her knees and ankles and it’s never stopped us from going to a festival. Most large festivals have disabled facilities and they are normally specific to you needs. They have disabled camping areas where they normally also have fridges for your medication, huge disabled portapoties and access to the staff toilets as well, platforms with disabled seating so you can see the stage but still sit down at a reasonable distance and not have to worry about getting bashed around and more recently platform access (a path that will allow you to get in a wheelchair to and from all the platforms and the campsite regardless of how muddy things are which the first time I went disabled at download festival they didn’t have this fully set up and I ended up helping 3 other people carry a guy in wheelchair back to his car)
A nice idea to do would be when you turn 30, is to make a list of things that you actually did, that were not on the list but that 25-year-old Hannah would be excited about if you could tell her. I remember feeling a bit sad when I turned 30 because I felt like I didn't get to do some of the things that I wanted to do before 30. But I spoke to my mum about it and she said: "well but you have done this thing and this other thing imagine how excited 20-year old you would have been about those things". And that really helped me.
I'd argue that picking a random 12 months is fine for 50 books in a year because people don't feel like the societal year fits them as time can feel different for them. My year usually starts in August which is when my birthday is, which makes sense as it's a new year of my life, so do what you want!
ok so I've never heard the term bottomless brunch before (not a native english speaker) and was full on just imagining a brunch where no one wears bottoms and i didn't even think it was that weird
Just came here to ruin the fun saying that getting pregnant might not just mean 9 months of not drinking. If you plan on breastfeeding, that'll easily be 2+ years 🙈
Canadian here - just so you know. It's not very hard to go to the Arctic haha. Just come to Canada and drive on up. Much less expensive than the $50 000 to go to the Antarctic.
Happy Birthday Hannah! I'm 20 and one of my goals to achieve before 20 (set when I was 14) was to marry one of the Sprouse twins. I have not achieved this goal (yet).
I love this video! Sometimes we get such a negative outlook about “giving up on our dreams” as we age, but the truth is our dreams change with time and experience and that’s beautiful ❤️
Plants leaves die! As long as new growth is happening and you water them when they're soil is dry, dead leaves are absolutely fine don't worry about them
Who remembers that when Hannah kept number 30 secret the general consensus was that it was ‘get married’ because she said ‘I do’ right after stating she was not telling us and it turns out that it was...yeah not that!? 😆
Glastonbury was on my bucket list as a "one off" thing... Have been back every year since. It is the BEST PLACE ON EARTH. They have a range of different types of toilets and as a whole has pretty good disability access (my sister has a chronic illness so has researched it extensively) You will love it 🙂
Can I just say it's super refreshing to see you say "nope, don't care about that anymore" in a happy tone ! I also had a health crisis ruin many of my younger self dreams for the next following years, and it's been a journey but now I am no longer super angry. I just enjoy seeing how priorities change and we grow, and so now my bucket lists are just "be a better friend, get a really cool gift for my boyfriend, host a cozy night with the girls" instead of stressful productivity/live your best life milestones
I've watched the 30 before 30 video recently and remember how everyone was guessing that the number 30 was "get married" or "have children" and I find it so Hannah that it was actually what it was. 😁 (Trying not to spoil it for people who haven't finished the video yet). It's just so adorably on brand. 💛 Love it. (Edit: Just switched the emojis to pictures on the phone.)
It's always interesting to look back on goals of a younger person and seeing the change in perspective as we all age. You'll enjoy skiing. You can rent equipment. As long as you have water proof clothes, you'll be grand.
Oh my god I was listening to this video as I worked and when you suddenly yelled Sharon I jumped from my seat! Definitely woke me up from my working trance though.
I have a stoma (ileostomy since 2017) and love going on day walks, I’ve been wild camping and have gone to a couple of festivals since having my bag. I depend a lot on loperamide - you can’t really overdose on the stuff, so if I know I’m going to be outdoors for a long period I make sure to take 2 loperamide in the morning around 20 mins before breakfast which usually makes my stoma stay asleep until lunch time or early afternoon (5-6ish hours). Sometimes before lunch I take 2 more tablets - although they tend to have less of an effect in the afternoon for me. Another really handy thing was swapping to a two-piece bag system, this makes it so much easier to change your bag without taking off the baseplate. I change the bag every day but my baseplate usually lasts about 5 days - very helpful when camping etc. It’s still not ideal doing a bag swap behind a bush but it is possible, obviously bring tissues/wipes, sanitiser and make sure to double bag the rubbish and dispose at next available bin. Festivals are even easier to manage than hikes - just apply through the disability services and they will give you a lanyard/pass that gives you access to their disabled toilets and their disabled campsite (which is closer to facilities and the main arena) if you wish! Just try and set up camp relatively close to toilet facilities, unfortunately middle of the night trips to the loo are inevitable and you’ll just have to put on a jumper and bring a torch 😂 These are just things that work for me but of course take some time to figure out what works for you. I hope this is helpful 🙂
YES please come to NZ! As well as Hobbiton there are THOUSANDS of hikes, all of varying lengths with varying levels of toilets! There are heaps of tramps that only take an hour or two and then you can stay at a hut with a loo, with stunning scenery ❤️
I always find when I make these types of lists, I think of a few things I want to do, and then start randomly adding things on that I think I “should” want to do to make up the numbers! The one that’s been on my list for years is learn how to cook eggs (I can only make scrambled, but enjoy eating them in a range of ways) so maybe I’ll just focus on that first 😅
i knew what 30 was going to be right away when i watched that first video years ago and having it confirmed years later feels like the weirdest form of accomplishment
Do a one month house swap with someone so your mortgage payment is basically your rent abroad. Living abroad is the best way to understand the difference in cultures and also how we are similar as humans.
Stoma at a festival: contact them in advance and apply for disability access. They let me use a separate entrance to avoid the long queues with no loo and had access to the disabled toilets. Then you just have to manage your fluid and food intake etc. I got quite dehydrated due to the lack of shade available! Would still reccomend 😊
at 31, going on 32 this year in June, I can say absolutely nothing that was important to me at 25 is important to me now. I'm a completely different, more whole person. I think setting goals can be a good thing, but also that our priorities change so much in five, six years that hitting those goals aren't super important either. I think this video shows that really well, honestly! a lot of those goals seem so silly and superficial now, but when you made them they must have been the most important things you could think of. My how time changes us! (and a global pandemic. and illness. I too discovered my own chronic illnesses in that time)
3 года назад
Same. My biggest goals now are ideas I hadn't yet dreamed of when I was 25. And my priorities have shifted away from some things that mattered a lot to me then.
As for my goal is it to print and hang my photos at home. I have 4 up from film days but the quality of my images is much better now that I am shooting digital.
i always thought i‘d finish my phd at 28. amd then have babies. i started my phd at 29 after a 4 year long break from studies to work and cannot imagine having babies in the next years... life is so different from our plans!
im tempted to make like a lockdown bucket list of just things that i could do indoors or online just to have something new to experience i think it could be interesting to do something like that? maybe a list of films youve always wanted to see? or games you really want to play?
I turn 25 in 13 days and now I'm wondering if I should do a fun list like this! Even if I didn't complete the goals, it would be interesting to look back on like you have and see how I actually change over the years. Thank you for this video! It's reminded me that it's not to late to develop a fulfilling career and it gives me hope that maybe I'll be able to achieve more in the next few years.
I'm 20 and this video has inspired me to do a 25 by 25 and bury it for several years. I think it would be interesting to see how much (or little) my life will have changed. It's easy enough to let time pass by without noticing!
You could still run a 5/10k without there being a public race on. Another youtuber I watched set up a fundraiser last autumn and she and her subs did a virtual 5k where they all just did one on their own or with a friend at some point during a designated week and posted a photo of their step trackers at the end, or just made a donation and cheered others on.
yes very true!! I haven't been running since it's been COLD (and since I got the Ring Fit for the Switch 😂) but once things warm up I wanna go out jogging again!
YAY FOR NEWCASTLE! When things are safer, you should totally come back to Newcastle!! Not even for any event, but just to explore the city, look at the beautiful architecture and enjoy the nightlife! We also have a dog cat cafe and two cat cafes, which I can't wait to go back to!
Happy birthday Hannah💛🎉 You’re amazing and you’ve accomplished a lot and gotten through rough times don’t sell yourself short Keep being you’re incredible self
Really enjoyed this, it’s really interesting how everything can change in such a short period of time! Would you consider sharing how you organise your Notion? I think it would be quite helpful and fun to watch as (I suppose) there are quite a few of us here that like to see organisation content. 😊
Age is just a number if you manage your health. Active, engaged, healthy, etc. are all under your control. It is if you let others tell you how you are (even experts) they not you make you healthy.
@@lkimberly2064 I don't think Traci mentioned her age cause she thinks she's old, but because it's only 3 years to complete 60 bucket list items. That's a tight time frame!
3 года назад+1
@@helenm1085 Yep, especially with the year that's in it!
Age is also a limiter if you treat it "this many goals by this age." Whether you mean physical age; while it may be true certain things get harder to do at an older age you can still do things as long as they fall within reason of the existing potential. Or mental consideration of age, self limiting may seem reasonable if you know certain limits but if age as long as mental facilities exist is a chosen edge it's a "cannot" by choice. As in while it may be harder to be active in certain ways if older (I knew a 90 year old that while weaker in form was still mobile and had a pretty busy life) exercise at older age may actually reverse aging to some degree as an example. Also it is in some ways literally in the mind, if you are stressed to a given degree but young- gray hair may still become prevalent.
For your long-walk/hiking you might be interested in the Camino de Santiago in Spain. It's an old pilgrimage route that is really well maintained and has small towns where you can stop in a cafe every five miles or so (I did the 500+ miles in 2018 on the French route and can vouch for this) which might make it easier with a stoma. Tons of people do it just as an awesome hike and a way to meet interesting people rather than for any religious reason. Would definitely add a destination to the walk!
I've done the Dales Highway (goes along the top of the mountains rather than the valleys)! Took about 9 days and there are companies who can take your bags from b&b to b&b so you don't have to carry them. One warning is you need to have good walking boots, walking socks and train up so you're fit enough because it is hard work, but it's definitely manageable. I imagine if you follow the valleys there will be a few more public toilets along the way but there are still long stretches without them. I really hope you manage to go though! It's so beautiful and such an achievement at the end! 😊
You're so awesome, Hannah. Your commitment to exploring life and growing, and the way it sits alongside vulnerability and adaptivity to your changing situation, is so affirming. I'm disabled and recently became more disabled after an unexpected major surgery and in conjunction with the pandemic it's meant I've had to constantly work to be okay with my goals moving and my commitment to even having goals being something I can't depend on. Your videos help. x
Sooo festival wise, I have been in a situation where on a campsite I had to walk like 4/5 minutes to a toilet. Best solution I have found so far is taking Imodium before bed. Slowed my movements down enough for me to get a full nights sleep without even thinking about my stoma. Could work really well for long walks/hikes as well.
I've been watching you for years now and you and this channel just get more and more fun. What a blast to go back through this hilarious list. Happy birthday Hannah!
I don'tt think its cheating at all! Especially if the goal was to increase your reading consistency, you still read super consistently for 12 months! which is so awesome!
This just motivated me to write a 30 before 30 list (I am 22 so I should have plenty of time post-covid at some point). Auschwitz I can really recommend you do to that in the winter. I went there with my advanced history class in a cold Polish January and the cold hitting you in the face makes everything feel more real. It was such a life-changing experience, especially with all the knowledge we had the months leading up to it and the tour we had. It hit hard. We went to Krakau afterwards and learned about the history to have some positive history lessons - we learned about general Polish history and about Jewish history and it was super insightful!
I love this. A lot of my twenties has been spent trying to figure out what I actually want to do and prioritize instead of me just being young and expecting that to mean that I always want do everything and be ready for new stuff - no matter what. That's exhausting. Being interested (but not really) in everything
Happy birthday Hannah! I'm turning 30 in about a month and I didn't do a 30 before 30, but might do a 40 before 40! Feels like I'll be able to actually accomplish things in my 30s which wasn't the case for most of my 20s. Looking forward to it!
I'm so glad I didn't make one of these lists because my 20's have not been pleasant to say the least. xD I love how realistic and positive you are even through the tough things you had to go through over the years. I turn 29 four days after you, so I'm going into my last year before 30 as well. Honestly the only thing I'd really like to do is get my own place with my husband that doesn't require roommates. My 20's pushed me around so much that I'm just trying to drag myself out...Thankfully through tough times, I've learned a lot and, like you, my priorities have changed. I digress, hope you have a wonderful birthday Hannah! :D
My ex and I did a muddy Glastonbury together and she had a severe chronic illness that necessitated accessible toilets and a clean place to administer dressings etc. We spoke with their wonderful accessibility manager and arranged to get a spot in the accessible camp ground (which had accessible toilets, shower, power etc). We were lucky enough to get a caravan, but lots of people were camping there too. I'd recommend a caravan over a tent though! It was an incredible experience and we were both really impressed with the experience. There's a minibus that takes you to different areas of the festival, accessible toilets that you access with a code (and are supervised by access stewards), and there are priority access routes that allow you to miss many of the crowds. I'd highly recommend going, but make sure you speak with the access team beforehand so they can help make sure everything you need can be accessed.
Happy Birthday, Hannah! I just turned 29 in the middle of January and I can relate so much to many things you mentioned. At 25 there were so many things I wanted to do at which I look today and just think "naaaah, I'm fine, thanks" lol
Happy birthday Hannah! Hope you have a great day! 🥳 I'm turning 25 in like two and a half weeks and I'm think of doing this just to see how much I change during these next five years :)
A couple of ideas on how to solve festivals for you. Guests and artist areas tend to have proper toilet blocks. Use your industry connections to get wristbands to go in there. For some festivals, you could stay off-site in a hotel if you are worried about the toilets in the night. Or some festivals have guest and artist campsites where you still pitch a tent but that have proper toilet/shower blocks.
Omg, Hannah, I'm 25 years old right now and you got me so scared of what's still to come! I still have all of those dreams in my head, but never wrote them down, so we'll see ;)
i've got about a month before i hit my 30th birthday (my second in pandemic times!! ugh.) and this video was such a warm, low pressure way for me to think about all the things that i'd maybe hoped would be true by 30, but also appreciate all the good stuff waiting for us post-corona!
10/10 would recommend the seaford walk it’s so beautiful and you get to see across the white cliffs “Seaford to Eastbourne is a 13.7 mile point-to-point trail located near Seaford, East Sussex, England that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible year-round” Me and my partner did this walk for are 2 year anniversary so fun and if you do it post lockdown there’s a beautiful pub half way across the walk You can even do half the walk and head back there’s lots of stop points and check points which tell you about wild life etc
This brought me so much joy to watch! I remember being so curious as to what the last thing on the list was and this is just classic hannah! Also, you make your own year, anniversary's, birthdays, school years etc so any 50 books in a 12 month span definitely count!
I went to Northern Nights (3 days camping under the redwoods) and as an ostomates it worked fine for me. Hydrate! Plan meals that you know make you feel good. And bring tummy remedies like mint yea!
I will be 29 this year as well! When I was a kid I always couldn't wait to be 30. Like my life would be so much better. And it is already: got out of abusive romantic and family relationships, got my beloved dog I wanted all my life, married the most amazing human ever, moved out of the city, and so so much more. I have also had to really adjust my expectations and also what I want in life, as what I need looks a lot different in these years before 30. I checked off the one main item on my unofficial/un written list which was find an amazing partner who loves me for me. So that is a huge win! But I was inspired to make a new list after I watched this video. I made sure to choose things that are possible with Covid, and put some things I know are coming up so I can check something off soon! First one to get checked off will be getting an IUD next week! WOOO! Your channel has helped me in gaining knowledge and confidence in exploring sex as a positive thing again, I even bought my first ever sex toy! Thanks for all you do Hannah! So glad I found your channel!
I did actually make a 30 before 30 list...when I was 28.5. Haha! Everything was attempted. And I successful completed 27 of them. I now have a 40 before 40 list. I'm on pace to complete them all (granted I just barely turned 32 and who knows what could happen). But giving a Ted Talk on fun and successful bucket lists is on my list. I can share my tips if you'd like!
I loved this video! (and also your jumper!) I like making annual goals but don't think I've ever seriously made a long term one (apart from when I was 23 I said I wanted to buy a sofa before 30 because that seemed very adult, tick). Just realised I'm 4 days past being three quarters through my 20s, so this seems like a good time to make a 30 before 30!
I had literally just gotten to New Zealand for a dream 2 month trip when the pandemic shut everything down and we had to immediately start figuring out how to get home. We were fortunate enough be able to keep moving along for 2 weeks and prioritized Hobbiton. We did the evening banquet experience and it was so worth it OMG I cannot wait to go back. It was pure joy.
This has reminded me to look at my 30 before 30 list. I have completed two during lockdown, moving out and learning to make cocktails, not a pro but I'll count it 🙈 I started some things such as learning to make my own clothes, sign language. Theres alot of holiday destination on here but im hopeful I will do most in the next 5 years. 🤞
I'm so glad to finally see your update on your 30 Before 30 list :) I've currently achieved 6 of my 30 goals but it is true that some i initially wrote just do not interest me anymore ! As for your book challenge, i don't think you need to do it in a calendar year, you can do it from March '21 to March '22 :)
This came up on my suggested videos. I haven't otherwise watched your videos before- it seems I'm missing out. I'm 6 months away from 34 & it makes me introspective of what things I'd like to achieve by 40.
It's so nice to see that lists and priorities can change! It's always a good reminder, even when we know that already. Btw, like other people said, "a year" does not always mean 1° Jan to 1° Jan :P
It is doable living in another country for a month, so don't give that up :) it is so enjoyable staying in another country a bit longer and getting into the culture. I've stayed in UK, France and Germany for longer times (and Vietnam if you count backpacking). Also if you're worried about having a flat you could do a flat-swap! On my bucket-list before 40 (im 30 now) is staying in Italy for minimum one month and studying italian. Other things on my list: walking the camino (which also would be a month in Spain), renovating a house and running a marathon.
Yosemite is very pretty at any time during the year. I used to leave less than an hour away when I was a kid a would go every winter to play in the snow. I only live about 4 hours away now and will be going mid-march for my anniversary
Dales Way - yay! My other half walked this a couple of years ago with her Mum and had a great time. There are some stretches with not many villages, pubs, toilets though. Hope you find a way of doing it.
🥳 Happy Birthday! We are about the same age. I turn 29 in March and share a similar sentiment. I feel like the lockdown has made me grow and has given me a different perspective. It feels as if I've aged several years in the past year. I also had a 30 before 30 list. I learned a few things about myself and life in general. Here's what I know: 1) You don't HAVE to accomplish a list of things before a certain age. 2) You don't have to have a good excuse to do something or go somewhere. Do what you want, simply because I want to. 3) Sometimes saying no to an experience is just as great of a decision as saying yes. 4) Don't do things/ go to places just because people say it's a must-see. Sometimes learning how to bake bread can be just as exciting a challenge as trekking across a mountain. 5) You don't owe anyone ANYTHING. But... 6)You are still responsible for yourself and the impact you leave on the world. 7) Play. Like actually enjoy yourself. Play and experience life with childlike wonder. 8) Just eat the cookie 9) Be nice to people. Even the most horrendous person has feelings. You never know what people are going through. 10) You can have a hobby that isn't a side hustle or meant to further your career or make you look good. Just do it because you enjoy doing it. Thank you for the great video. Have an amazing birthday. Have a great day! ❤️
I work in the entertainment industry, and i can tell you we absolutely want to make things accessible for people! Contact the festival you want to visit and they will have some one specifically dealing with accessibility, and they will work with you to make a plan. Sometimes there are limitations to what is possible (ie fully accessible bathrooms with adult changing facilities, in a very old theatre!)....... but what you need should be totally possible to accommodate! Please don't let this stop you!
We were at Disneyworld at the same time, but I didn't discover you til April. I totally would have fangirled if I met you (once I knew who you were). What a missed opportunity to meet an icon.
Regarding the skiing equipment: in most places you can rent a lot of things. I don’t know about like jacket/trousers/gloves, but shoes, ski/snowboard and that stuff you should be able to rent almost anywhere you can ski (at least in germany & austria in my experience)
Other festivals that take place in venues and not in a field (so better toilet access) are Great Escape in Brighton, the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg in Germany, and Icelandic Airwaves in Reykjavik :)
I was meant to go interrailing around Europe and tick off places and activities I wanted to do before 30. But, I turned 30 during lockdown soooooo Yeah *sigh*
I didn't realize you lived in the US for at least a year when you were young. Also fascinated by your National Parks tour. I think talking about your experiences in the US would make a great video. Seems like it would appeal to US as well as UK fans and others!
My Ex Boyfriend had a stoma and we did festivals all the time. He used to contact the festival before we booked and see if they have any medical toilets and some give you a special pass which basically let’s you use all the staff and backstage/ medical toilets so it was a lot easier and cleaner.
That's such a lovely idea!
Love this idea! I did a 2020 version of this and wrote down anything that I did that I'm Happy about in 2020 to focus on the positives ❤
this is so wholesome ❤️ tell your mum thank you! ✨ it helped me, too.
I'd argue that picking a random 12 months is fine for 50 books in a year because people don't feel like the societal year fits them as time can feel different for them. My year usually starts in August which is when my birthday is, which makes sense as it's a new year of my life, so do what you want!
yes! it's my list! I make the rules!
You can try to do 50 books in the 12 months when you are particular age, e.g. 29
Exactly, plus some cultures don't use January first to mark the new year anyway :)
corona-year counts as a calender-year i'd reckon :D
ok so I've never heard the term bottomless brunch before (not a native english speaker) and was full on just imagining a brunch where no one wears bottoms and i didn't even think it was that weird
Thank you so much for this chuckle!
that is exactly what I thought too! 😂
Just came here to ruin the fun saying that getting pregnant might not just mean 9 months of not drinking. If you plan on breastfeeding, that'll easily be 2+ years 🙈
me toooo hahaha
same, and i was just sitting here, like “wait a second, this actually sounds kind of cool”
You published the hormone diaries so you did write a book. It's not fiction, but it is most definitely a book, Hannah.
Idk if it counts as a novel tho xD
I mean she'd already published doing it when she wrote the list so I think she really meant a novel as in fiction
I have not achieved this goal (yet).
that is amazing
I love this video! Sometimes we get such a negative outlook about “giving up on our dreams” as we age, but the truth is our dreams change with time and experience and that’s beautiful ❤️
Absolutely!
I fully agree!
Hahaha I don’t even remember saying that afterwards so much have been unintentional! 😂
"30 before 30? I'd like to go to the pub...." - ahhahaaa same, this is the ONLY plan I have left
The Plan.
I turn 30 in 45 days. I’ve written myself a 30 by 30 today. Favourites include build a fort, don’t get COVID and get a hair cut. Very proud
Covid is an old person's disease. Check the stats.
Glastonbury was on my bucket list as a "one off" thing... Have been back every year since. It is the BEST PLACE ON EARTH. They have a range of different types of toilets and as a whole has pretty good disability access (my sister has a chronic illness so has researched it extensively) You will love it 🙂

I've watched the 30 before 30 video recently and remember how everyone was guessing that the number 30 was "get married" or "have children" and I find it so Hannah that it was actually what it was. 😁 (Trying not to spoil it for people who haven't finished the video yet). It's just so adorably on brand. 💛 Love it. (Edit: Just switched the emojis to pictures on the phone.)
hehehehe
Thank you for not spoiling it! ❤❤❤❤
It's always interesting to look back on goals of a younger person and seeing the change in perspective as we all age.
You'll enjoy skiing. You can rent equipment. As long as you have water proof clothes, you'll be grand.
I don't think it's cheating to count April to April. It's a whole year!
It’s the financial year too... haha
Agreed! It totally counts!
Oh my god I was listening to this video as I worked and when you suddenly yelled Sharon I jumped from my seat! Definitely woke me up from my working trance though.
SHARON !
As the one who interviewed you in Newcastle I feel honoured that we were the first thing ticked off your list! 😂
🙌🏼
YES please come to NZ! As well as Hobbiton there are THOUSANDS of hikes, all of varying lengths with varying levels of toilets! There are heaps of tramps that only take an hour or two and then you can stay at a hut with a loo, with stunning scenery ❤️
I always find when I make these types of lists, I think of a few things I want to do, and then start randomly adding things on that I think I “should” want to do to make up the numbers! The one that’s been on my list for years is learn how to cook eggs (I can only make scrambled, but enjoy eating them in a range of ways) so maybe I’ll just focus on that first 😅
That is so true for me too! When there is a set number I just fill the void.
Start with fried or baked, they're quite easy. Or an omelette which is basically just flat scrambled eggs 😆
i knew what 30 was going to be right away when i watched that first video years ago and having it confirmed years later feels like the weirdest form of accomplishment
A stoma shouldn't stop people from doing most anything. A friend of mine through hiked the applachian trail for her 60th birthday, and she has one.
at 31, going on 32 this year in June, I can say absolutely nothing that was important to me at 25 is important to me now.
I too discovered my own chronic illnesses in that time)
Same. My biggest goals now are ideas I hadn't yet dreamed of when I was 25. And my priorities have shifted away from some things that mattered a lot to me then.
"the stress of keeping her [a plant] alive is honestly a lot" -Hannah 2021, trying to get pregnant :D Don't let the plant die Hannah 💛
The colours in your jumper/sweater are incredibly vivid. I love it.
As for my goal is it to print and hang my photos at home. I have 4 up from film days but the quality of my images is much better now that I am shooting digital.
I only had one "before 30" goal which was to complete my PhD. I completed that last year, a few days after I turned 32 xD
Congrats! :)
i always thought i‘d finish my phd at 28. amd then have babies. i started my phd at 29 after a 4 year long break from studies to work and cannot imagine having babies in the next years... life is so different from our plans!
come be our token straight on a queer disney world trip haha
I would be honoured 🥰🥰
I wish 'token straight' or 'token white person' was more used rather than the other way around. That would be amazing
Can i come lol
funny how our goals and aspirations change!!
im tempted to make like a lockdown bucket list of just things that i could do indoors or online just to have something new to experience i think it could be interesting to do something like that? maybe a list of films youve always wanted to see? or games you really want to play?
Going to Hobbiton was definitely a highlight of the New Zealand trip my husband and I went on in January 2020.
I’m so glad RUclips recommended this video, your the sweetest little bean 🤍
Omg I am now absolutely going to write a 30 before 30 bucket list that I can laugh at in 5 years
I turn 25 in 13 days and now I'm wondering if I should do a fun list like this!
Are you talking about Beatrice Caruso? She's great!
@@carolinee4452 yes! I love her.
Happy birthday Hannah💛🎉
You’re amazing and you’ve accomplished a lot and gotten through rough times don’t sell yourself short
Keep being you’re incredible self
Really enjoyed this, it’s really interesting how everything can change in such a short period of time!
Would you consider sharing how you organise your Notion? I think it would be quite helpful and fun to watch as (I suppose) there are quite a few of us here that like to see organisation content. 😊
It would be far reaching to do 60 before 60 as I am already 57. Pandemic and all maybe 6 before 60??? Lol
Ok can I just say, right off the bat, 10/10 matching your top and the painting in the background!
Could work really well for long walks/hikes as well.
oooh interesting! may have to try that!
This video is so good and it’s refreshing to see how so many things you simply don’t care about now
I've been watching you for years now and you and this channel just get more and more fun. What a blast to go back through this hilarious list. Happy birthday Hannah!
I find it really soothin ghtat ypu are so open about how perception and views on goals can change, even in a relativly short amount of time.
Not me trying to figure out why you would eat brunch without pants... :D
LOL
Almost anything can be done without pants.
Rediscovering old notes in the move from evernote to notion is so specific but I relate so much
It was lovely meeting you when you did visit Newcastle. Hope you get to visit again for longer next time :)
Your videos never fail to cheer me up Hannah!
10/10 would recommend the seaford walk it’s so beautiful and you get to see across the white cliffs
“Seaford to Eastbourne is a 13.7 mile point-to-point trail located near Seaford, East Sussex, England that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible year-round”
Me and my partner did this walk for are 2 year anniversary so fun and if you do it post lockdown there’s a beautiful pub half way across the walk
You can even do half the walk and head back there’s lots of stop points and check points which tell you about wild life etc
This brought me so much joy to watch! I remember being so curious as to what the last thing on the list was and this is just classic hannah! Also, you make your own year, anniversary's, birthdays, school years etc so any 50 books in a 12 month span definitely count!
Happy birthday for tomorrow! I don't think I made a 30 before 30 list but I do like the idea of a post-pandemic bucket list!
Happy birthday Hannah and happy Pisces season! x
(and also your jumper!)
I like making annual goals but don't think I've ever seriously made a long term one (apart from when I was 23 I said I wanted to buy a sofa before 30 because that seemed very adult, tick).
A friend of mine made a top 30 songs from her 30 years list, and i thought that was pretty cool!
Happy birthday!
Omg Hannah, I have wanted to know number 30 since 2017!!! Thankyou for enlightening us! 🥰
Happy Birthday Hannah!!
Here's what I know:
1) You don't HAVE to accomplish a list of things before a certain age.
8) Just eat the cookie
9) Be nice to people.
What a missed opportunity to meet an icon.
ohhh please do a notion tour!!😍😍
Regarding the skiing equipment: in most places you can rent a lot of things. I don’t know about like jacket/trousers/gloves, but shoes, ski/snowboard and that stuff you should be able to rent almost anywhere you can ski (at least in germany & austria in my experience)
Michelin star restaurant suggestion - Yauatcha in soho. It’s not overly fancy or formal but it serves delicious Chinese food!
Love this! Also very reassuring to see how your goals have changed over time
Unless you regularly go skiing, you don't need to buy equipment, just rent it at the ski resort ;)
Happy birthday Hannah! I love this idea! I am so going to do something similar. Hope that you achieve some more of your goals in this next year.
AAAhHH HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! fingers crossed that you're pregnant next year
Other festivals that take place in venues and not in a field (so better toilet access) are Great Escape in Brighton, the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg in Germany, and Icelandic Airwaves in Reykjavik :)
I was meant to go interrailing around Europe and tick off places and activities I wanted to do before 30.
But, I turned 30 during lockdown soooooo
Yeah *sigh*
I didn't realize you lived in the US for at least a year when you were young. Also fascinated by your National Parks tour. I think talking about your experiences in the US would make a great video. Seems like it would appeal to US as well as UK fans and others!
This is so timely for me because I just turned 25 on the 13th!
I think it's quite common to rent skiing equipment!
Happy Birthday for the 19th Hannah Hope you have a great day (or as good as it can be in lock down)
