- I've decided to start 2025 off with a bang by asking the question, can I beat Fallout 4 survival but everything is legendary? I attempted this run two years ago but I didn't finish the game and wasn't happy with the run overall. So join me as I try to do what I couldn't two years ago, beat Fallout 4 on survival where everything is legendary.

New Orleans fallout would be amazing. Unique architecture, unique environment (swamps, etc), and colorful locals like Cajuns. Also a jazz radio in Nola would go crazy.
I liked the swamps in Point Lookout, this could be good. A great time to bring out a healthy helping of gatorclaws, too.
I feel like Tennessee or a Detroit fallout would be fire

This challenge run is amazing. I have lectures and am busy studying all day plus I live in Sweden (different time zone) so I can never catch the streams live so these vods are how I can watch Jabo.
It’s a good way to relax after a long day of engineering studies.
It’s a shame I can’t watch them high during the semesters.
Been watching Jabo for ages now and I've always wondered if he's figured out yet that you can blow the legs off of feral Ghouls. That's a much better strategy than aiming for the head since they can't move if they lose a leg even if they mutate as a legendary
He intentionally does things the hard way majority of the time because it's "more fun"

Operation Anchorage was all the Alaska we needed in Fallout lol Texas would be pretty sweet though
The dalton highway would be interesting since and dead horse for the big bad guy of the game
Fallout Memphis where remnants of the Legion occupy the giant glass pyramid, there's Graceland to tie into The Kings and there's no shortage of unique locations like The Pink House and the arboretum. It's also easy to cross the bridge beside the pyramid into Arkansas, plus Tennessee sits on top of Mississippi which has gambling boats to replace NV casinos.

Jabo actually makes a good point about Deacon. He follows you before you get put in the paper or do the interview and like Jabo said the railroad doesn't know who you are so they didn't order deacon to follow you. Somehow deacon knew about the vault and it's possible survior. Perhaps Father himself set Deacon on this path becusee Father doesn't oppose you and tries to get you to join the institute while the other heads don't trust you. They may know about the operation to steal the baby and leave one parent alive the whole time. Maybe even the power failure was institute sabotage unbeknownst to Father.

If you don't pickup the bobble heads until you have filled all the special stats to 10 then you can push them up to 11 and one of them can be pushed up to 12 with the special book.

I wonder how much the run would change if your weapons degraded without being able to repair them. So you would have to either save stronger weapons or cycle through more of them.

people like to roast your aim but FO4 has mouse accel so you could blame that, there is mod that makes it raw input so it feels more like traditional FPS games

jabo gonna agree w a chatter that chicago would be too similar to boston then literally 2 seconds later say hed prefer texas which is similar to nevada and california
53:04 if they are gonna put vehicles in Fallout then there is no other place than detroit. It would be criminal to bring cars into the game and NOT have it set in the motor city. And I agree as fun as Texas could be it's too similar to Red Dead Redemption with the cowboy setting. I think detroit would make an amazing setting for fallout while also sticking to the theme of areas that built america.

I want Chicago, and for them to have an actual season system. Like, the season changes through the year. I want it to matter what time of year it is, if that makes sense?
that probably wouldn't happen because one of two things, one, the radiation and yknow the fucking bomb is probably enough to kill all plant matter in the area and probably country. secondly, even if plants grew back (which would make sense idk why fallout doesn't do that) its not like weather/season changes would be that substantial to change what the plants look like.

@@yankee637 it would depend on the region, but in general crops can grow, and i mean too about that, society should be on certain level of reconstruction, i dont ask the level of FO2/NV but that i can see the society truly advancing, and that they wont live in semi destroyed houses with skeletons, they should clean a least

46:47 new york is a giant crater by 76 period so i highly doubt that there will be a Fo game set in new york. Granted we are now 200 years in the future so maybe someone came to colonize it but there would be little to no pre war ruins

What mod are you using for making the enemies legendary? I've tried a couple of old mods from Nexusmods that claims to do the job, but they seems to be broken as they work only for a few enemies in the early game then stopped working at all. I've consoled in lv 8 and slept more than 5 days in Sanctuary and I haven't upgraded to next gen.
