I’m Italian, if you want to be correct with the name it’s “Piaggio Ciao” and not “vespa ciao”👍🏻 i already have a piaggio ciao whit 65cc dr, 13/13 carb with malossi air filter, modified crankshaft, giannelli fire and it FLYYY✌🏻

I think you should cut the bolt for the sidepanel and glue it to the empty hole with no socket. That way itll look better, imo.

I am no expert, but consider boring out your carburetor and intake to 13mm so that the bike will get more air. More air=more fuel! Also install an aftermarket air filter and an exhaust with an expansion chamber! These modifications will go a long way in opening up your stock ciao.

Good going on this build. We used to have 80cc running around when I was a kid in Italy.
I would love to reconnect with the first motorized transport I ride at 14yo in Italy BUT 2T are no longer allowed in London, the ULEZ is right up behind my road and all the way into London.
If I could convert one to electric I could 🖕🏻 to the mayor who extended it as soon as he was re-elected 😤😤😤

PLEASE PLEASE do not change anything on this super rare 19" first generation Ciao. Any change from the original reduces the value.
If you want to tinker, buy 4-6 pieces of cheap Ciao of the 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation with the money that the 19" Ciao brings.

Thanks for the video! I'm looking into a Ciao mainly for the design. I've just gotten into small engine bikes about a year ago, so I'm not super familiar with all the mechanical stuff. That said, I had a Yamaha Mate V50 (2 stroke 50cc). Stock alone I can easily reach about 63km / hour or 39 Mph. ruclips.net/user/shortsFQQjVLRWg-E Just curious as to what are the mechanics to these machines. Still fun, though. I have a Super Cub C125, so not that obsessed with speed. Thanks again for the video.
