In today's video I decided to do a comparison between 3 Ferrari track-focused V8 supercars; the 430 Scuderia naturally aspirated 4.3 liter, 458 Speciale naturally aspirated 4.5 liter and the latest 488 Pista twin turbo 3.9 liter. All three cars you see in the video are fitted with custom exhausts.

For me the 430 sounded the best plus it's got flames shooting out, 458 a close second, large gap to the Pista that sounded muted compared to the other two. Good video!

But the best sounding Ferrari is, in my opinion, the 355.

You can have the sound or the power, can’t have both ( except for LaF ) and all the other v12 cars are too heavy to be fast
Will never happen cos of the turbos on it. Turbo cars will always have a wierd sound and will never have the beautiful sweet sound of the NA v8s

For me the best sounding is that F430, really crazy loud and high pitched.

We have both cars driving around here very often. The stock exhaust of the 430 Scuderia is nice. The 488 posts sound is weak. These cars here are indoor. Outside it’s way less dramatic.
The best sound has the 360 CS in Stock. And the Enzo
The Scud wins by a country mile! The Speciale is second. The Pista, because it is turbocharged, just needs to be straight piped to sound decent. Great video, thanks!
I love those NA engines, I want them to be part of my life, and hate those turbo-charged muted engine sounds, but to be honest, I don't like those custom exhausts were the sound has a type of "rattle" in it, I don't know how to explain it but, if those TWO cars had an exhaust which amplifies the high revving V8s, but not deafens ears off, they will sound absolutely mental
I know the love and appreciation the 430 and 458 get for their raw NA sounds but I personally love the Pista's sound the most. The turbos add a kinda deep and intense tone to the exhaust note and it sounds freaking mean. I love the way a novitec 488 sounds.
I went to many Ferrari events the couple of years the 430 scud aria was the king of the track and that sound is just amazing. It’s the classic Ferrari we all know, but the new sound of the 458 is so different and equally amazing

f430: pure bliss
(the f430 is my favorite with the 488 coming close behind)
I exepted something worst from the 488, they did a good job putting a good sound on a biturbo!

Idk, the 430 Scuderia in this video sounds like an electric guitar out of tune. I remember the 430 being much more melodic!
The 488 Pista, with the slight F1 high pitch of the Novitec exhaust, sounds much better!

I got all 3 cars in my fh5 garage with an 812 superfast and they all sound realistic while playing, they also sounds really nice, but sooooo hard to choose between 430 or 458

I have to say that even thou I like the 430 this setup just makes it sound really bad. I much more enjoy the sound that the 458 is making. And for a turbo car the Pista does not sound bad either
Scud when on the dynos. 458 is close during free revving but still exhaust sound still goes to Scud

Judging from the sounds only tje NA engine of scuderia is the best.

Interestingly enough....I didn't hear all that crackling and popping and burping that seems to be plaguing the scene lately! I wonder why that is??
Mostly bad sounding cars do the crackling and popping. Great sounding cars don't need the popping to stand out the masses
458 sounds better than 430, its just that the sound quality on the 458 was crap compared to 430.

I prefer 458 but they really did a good job in ferrari, very good sound in a biturbo
