Jeremy Irons steals the entire film once he walks on screen.

When someone asks me what my favorite horror movie is, I tell them it’s a tie between Margin Call and The Big Short.

For me Margin call beats The Big short.
The scene in the car....one of the best speeches ever.

Why Goldman Sachs survived 2007-08, and Lehman Brothers, who started selling second, collapsed. Great movie and pleasantly surprised for your reaction.

More regular people need to watch movies like Margin Call. It's not the safe, consumer-friendly superhero movie that most people want to see but it's a much more enriching experience overall and it will actually leave you a bit wiser because of it.

Margin Call is an AMAZING movie that it seems like no one saw. It's the more tense and intelligent (and less mainstream) version of Big Short. It also gives an inside look of the other side of the 2008 Financial Crisis.

The look Jeremy Irons gives to Simon Baker and Demi More during the senior partners meeting, after he tells Zach Quinto
‘You are talking to me Mr. Sullivan’ is just fantastic acting on the part of Irons.

I love this flick. Your comparison to The Martian is a good one! Smart people who are good at their jobs, making tough decisions with insane implications. Great performances and directing. You don't have to be a financial wiz to enjoy this one. Shame more people don't react to it.

great reaction to one of my favorite “unknown” films - so cleverly written and brilliantly acted. just goes to show you don’t need a lot of drama to make a super good movie 👍👍👍

A few years ago, I went on vacation to florida and brought my PS3. I could only plug it up through a VCR, because the tv in the time share was older, and everything was in black and white for some reason. I was bored, and had just finished a season of House of Cards, so when I saw Kevin Spacey on the preview, I decided why not. First and only time I've watched this movie, because it in black and white was next level and I could never replicate that.

Same director’s All Is Lost is one of the greatest American movies of the last decade. Edge of your seat real-life terror.

J.C.Chandor wrote and directed this. You should check out "A Most Violent Year" by him. It's a really interesting take on a... 'crime'... movie, as it's like an inverse of a typical organized crime flick. The writing is also fantastic as well.

Imagine if the last scene burying the dog just straight transitioned with a little Hollywood magic into being one of the intro scenes of John Wick, and just went into John Wick from there and it was a 4hr movie.

I think of this film has a lot in common with a dialogue-driven film like "12 Angry Men" - It's mostly people talking and interacting. Whereas that film had a positive conclusion, this film is like a very slow-motion train wreck. Great reaction!

If you've seen the Lion King, you've seen that creepy smile Jeremy Irons gives at 5:25. Probably more predatory here than it was there.

The only way your content could be better is if your edits were not so tight and short...you miss a lot of content sometimes very important to the overall story. But, I know the work that must be entailed. I offer it as only my opinion.

Kevin Spacey is a fucking monster, won't watch his new shit and I can't watch his old movies anymore, but watching you react to a movie he's in is just removed enough for me to watch and so far, enjoy. Lol
