We’re stuck. The steering arms are not at the same angle. So one wheel is cocked inward and one is straight. We took the wheels off. The onscrewed the top cap on my he steering rack. One on each side. We figured once we unscrewed those locks then the steering would be able to move independently again like when it came out of the box. But they’re locked 1:1. When we move one side back the other side moved. And they’re stuck in a cockeyed position
Are the steering arms straight and is the steering wheel straight? With it unbolted can you point both wheels straight and turn the steering column to a better position?
I am putting the Hot Wheels Racer together currently for my son (same build as this car just different style). Started last night and had to stop as it was getting late. Wasn't sure about how the seat sits down. It kind of pinches the wires doesnt it? My wife and I were debating if it goes above or below that black plastic piece on the bottom but figured it most go above it to keep it from getting snagged. Just very snug in that spot. Is that right?
@Mayhemcountryliving I see the battery...the wording I'd facing me....like model number etc....but it just doesn't slide in and out lol. I think the battery was put in backwards maybe? 🤷♀️
thanks for this video, the instructions are kind of crap. Or maybe I just learn by watching and not reading (crap instructions). Got it done and built thanks to you!
kids get some great stuff now when I was 3 , for christmas, I got a Murray Jet, his three wheeled jet was available in three variations, the "Atomic Missile," the "Supersonic Jet," and the "Sky Rocket." Chromed dress-up parts are available for this pedal vehicle.,, had it for years,
There’s going to be some happy young’ns Christmas morning. Unfortunately we can’t spend Christmas morning with out kids and grandkids this year. Thank god for FaceTime.
That is an older video I did go out to the building where we keep it the battery will go in so that you plug it in from the very back. They’ll be a black and white wire that runs to the clip but the battery goes in so you would plug it in at the very back of the card. You would lift down that little flap and then you could plug it in and unplug it
This may sound odd but RUclips won’t let me know what video you’re talking about. If you will let me know the name of the video I will go into further depth for you

This is the most helpful we've seen. Thanks for explaining it and talking it out instead of just doing a quick video sequence.
Glad it helped Mandie

Yes, it is very, very snug
Ok thanks!
Please, where do you put the battery?
The battery slides in the back
Under the black cover
Do you have to take the battery off to charge it?
I don't see where you slide the piece in??
@rebeccarichey505 it unclips from the back and you attach the battery there and slide the battery in and clip the cover back in

That’s pretty cool I wonder what those things are worth nowadays. Merry Christmas buddy!
I'm building this right now, seems pretty easy. I'm already thinking about upgrading the battery. Maybe add some real thread on the tires also lol

Yes sir, they had a blast!
Please you didn't show how to connect the battery. I am stuck .
Overall great presentation.
Please can you show me how to connect the battery ?
Thank you.

Oh yes, that would be sweet!
Thank u so much!!! Very helpful ❤️
I’m glad it helped. Thank you for watching have a nice day.
I wish you would’ve been a little more in depth. Single parent putting this together and you skipped a lot :(

I just got the information on it that’s what I really can’t go back over. I will say that we still have it I think it’s going on two years.
