Thank you also for archiving the MusicData MIDI sequencer software and sharing it with me. In future explorations, I'm looking forward to figuring out how it is meant to interact with that synchronizer cart too :-)
As for the MIDI OUT 2 port, that one is still a bit of a mystery to me. I left some more observations on the vogon forum thread about how the pinouts that MID OUT2 were connected to seem a little wrong (or maybe they had a different purpose to what I had imagined). But anyway, still very happy to have a cartridge that can now do both MIDI IN and MIDI OUT! :D
A good q, someone else asked me about this privately too. Maybe I can try make a vid on how I configured the scope later on. The gist of it was I think I put it in some kind of trigger mode that awaited the rising edge of the waveform before it triggered.
