All MyTears : The One Take Sessions with harmony
This song is written by Julie Miller, a singer songwriter and wife of Buddy Miller, Americana musician. They recorded this with Emmy Lou Harris on her spectacular album SPYBOY which is a live recording of the material from her album Wrecking Ball -- if my memory serves me correctly .
I played this song most weekends on a gig in Sydney Australia - at the famous Rocks District bar, The Orient. We had a songbook full of country blues gospel and soul that we used to sing and play our way thru on a Saturday night or a Sunday afternoon.
I ended up recording 2 albums with that band . You can find them on iTunes : The Ballad Of Malcolm Campbell or it may be called Soul Song - depending on which country you're in and "What You Are."
