Chris.. so glad he didn't follow through. Kids are an amazing blessing and I'm happy his kid saved his life. Such a great guy. Much respect, stay positive buddy.
Just want you to know man, you give THE BEST content on poker at the moment, its incredible, keep it up you're a positive force that's been badly needed.
I have been following your channel for a while now I especially like this video since it shows how growing up changes the way everybody look at life and family and good friends change everything ❤
TY Dan nice video as I'm nearing the end of my worst losing year ever! Still a couple weeks but I'm ok with the loss. I ain't broke and I'll be bouncing back hard in 2025!
Cash game pro is way harder than tourney pros. The discipline to manage a bankroll while all you play is cash has got to be super human lol. At least in my experience if I were to try pro I’d need it to come from a big tourney payout. I need to be forced to focus the whole time on every hand or I get bored and play stupid hands for pot odds and shit 😂
Bigger stakes, plus I'm sure he wanted to test himself against what was considered the best players in the world or close to it. They're also may have been a feeling of I can crush the tourists there but I would think more than anything it has to do with wanting to make more money play bigger games and in Vegas you can find pretty much any size games you're looking for
I just punted off $2000 today in a live game with such a stupid -EV play. I hated myself all the way home and watched this video and made me realize that everyone that plays poker is a degenerate to a certain degree. I don't know why poker attracts people with these traits but it does. spoiler I am a winning live cash game player over a large sample size of decades.

Hellmuth going broke 9 times in a row is inspiring, goes to show that you should never give up!

Thank you, what else would you like to see?
Good video. New sub here. New level of respect for Phil hearing the honest story of his struggle. Appreciate that.

Steve O'Dwyer. To be that far buried in make up to be able to keep it cool and burn his way out. Outstanding!

The game is mental, same with trading, I trade for a living for few decades, and the downswings, test your mental fortitude big time
the jungleverse is awesome, get into th skool and learn from the master Jungle
Jungleman speaks like Bill Belichick 🙃
This is pretty good. Never heard that before. Good call
Good video, at the end big hunni reminded what a lying sleezeball he is
This one hits home jungle.
Could someone explain what this poker Black Friday was?
Epic intro

Is that meant to be a joke? Isildur did come back from being bust.
The last guy said 78 times "you know" 😂
I know
You know
@@TEAMGETHELP Even you know that I know, you know.
Where’s Negraneau? Wesley? Mr Keating? Mikki? JRB? Get some of the WSOP main event final table guys!
Wow... Can't believe Helmuth shared all that. I've a tonne more respect for the guy. And his dad's an asshole.
“Mostly playing casino games” 🤣
Why go to Vegas if you're crushing your home game?

Jungleman stake me please 🙏
Sure he’s going to stake “cashmoneybluffmaster”
He lost a lot of crypto and couldn't eat, he says. Looks like it saved his life ;)
How are you not bored of poker by now?
If you love this game, you never get bored.
@@CashMonkeyBluffMaster wait until you get older, I used to think crushing 5/10NL was the shit.
Cool, well im different and will never be tired of poker @GregF-k7w
2 card poker is a boring game live
@@bigbaggy i disagree

Those instances hurt, for sure. Best we can do is learn from them and do our best not to repeat them. Good luck at the tables!
hellmuth is the single most unlikable dude ive ever met
Like seeing him on RUclips is meeting for you? Cool
@Lexngton I've also met him in real life
He obviously means real life you clown.
