what's a budget? is that when you look at all your receipts after? LOL but yesss i'm excited for more link click! i talked to the person managing the booth and they said it's not technically a s3 but more like a self-contained arc? bc i thought i saw something like there was only going to be a certain number of episodes. like not a full season's worth. so i thought maybe it was half a season being released in q4 and the rest later. but he said noo it's not like that. it'll be a separate event. idk what the difference will be haha but q4 should mean winter of this year??
Dang waking up at 3-4am? Was that for autographs or to get in the expo? I came fashionably late at 11am lol my mind was willing to wake up earlier but my body was weak! Hope you had a good time and can't wait to see your haul :D
hahah yess i was waking up at that time. idk why bc my body was also protesting 🤣 but it was bc i cosplayed for the first 2 days so i wanted to get ready and then get in line so that i got into the con fairly early to buy whatever i needed to buy (mostly for others who requested for stuff). but there was a panel i really wanted to go to that was the first thing in the morning and i wanted to make sure i got a seat 🥲 i also didn't want to struggle with finding parking haha. i wish i could have gotten a specific autograph, but that would have meant i'd need to be in line EVEN EARLIER than when i arrived...i couldn't do that lmao. but how was your experience?
@@cadence_la oohh yeah cosplaying does take some time to prepare so kudos to you! When I heard people were sleeping there for autographs I was so shocked! The dedication. I don't blame you for parking cause that was a whole other story My first AX was a great one! Love all the booths, cosplays, vibes and that they blocked off the streets. Will definitely go to future ones. I learned so much from this experience like needing to actually line up for panels early, reserve parking earlier, and of course budget better lol

the first time i went to an anime convention was in april i believe. it was seriously my first, first ever one and i was *ecstatic*. i wandered on my own and i wholeheartedly agree that it's fun, but SOOO so so so so tiring 😭 there weren't any seats and some cosplayers were sitting on the floor doing their makeup but i wasn't cosplaying so i felt too awkward to sit with them 😭😭😭 i bought a bunch of items and fan merch and after counting how much i spent i kind of just sat there for a while lolololol. i definitely spent way too much. i thought that the convention i went was crazy till i saw this. holy crap??? AND THE CROWD??? anime expos out there are definitely more organized and fun ahhhh 🥹 i'd love to go there some day... i am flabbergasted.
ohhh that's so exciting that you were able to go to your first con! and that it was a positive experience aside from being suuuper tired by the end of it haha. it really is a lot to take in and see and ofc buy 😂 being surrounded by so many people who love the same thing you do and seeing all the merch def gets you in the spending mood 😅 but yess anime expo is very large and crowded 🤧 i'm more than used to it though! hope you're able to make it out to the con in the future!

What I do is only taking cash with me so that I have nowhere else to take money in case I surpass my budget
