It is absolutely incredible... There are lots of videos concerning welding and welding tables and stuff like that, but I found this one is the most interesting, detailed and practicle one of all. Thank you, I've got the inspiration needed.
Two years later, you inspired me to build my own welding table. But it's Will be fully from scrap... Congrats to your amazing project. You won one more follower. Cheers from Brazil.👏👏👏
Having searched and asked to the brink of impropriety for the dimensions of other builder's framework bars, I succeeded eventually. But You made it so much easier here by taking the time to just state it. I´ll even go a little smaller on my dimensions. Thank You!
For those interested in the Forney multiprocess welder I use, here is a link. Forney sells welders, plasma cutters and just about any other metal working tool you can imagine! bit.ly/2LjRRqH
U are extremely talented craftsmen, always puts a smile on my face when you upload a video you have shown how a RUclips channel should be run, one of the best channels on RUclips thank you very much for doing what u do.
Excellent upgrades Joe. Part of the advantages of doing it yourself is that you can usually modify to better suit your needs down the line without too much hassle.
Great table to begin with and interesting upgrades. The engineering, welds, fit and finish look great from where I'm sitting. The video quality and presentation top notch. With all that said I gotta tell you the first 4 seconds where you are smoking the pipe and mig welding without looking was like a boss.
I had to get my hubby to watch our video, he's always building something for table to work on, so he watched and he said that awesome! So he wrote everything down, can't guarantee that will happen soon. Thanks sharing, your table is awesome, good job.
Oh Boy... Is my husband going to like your channel! Going to share this with him right now. He's retiring in a few years and wants to go back to welding.
I've been following your page for at least a year or two. I recently purchased a miller maxstar 161 and was looking to build a welding table... you have the coolest design for a welding table I've seen yet. Gonna try to build one myself thanks for the inspiration / direction.
Great job explaining and showing the details on the materials and the dimentions of your build. Your editing skills are killer and keep getting better and better👍 I always enjoy your content and builds. Thank you so much for sharing and as always Keep Building👍
Very cool. I've watched a dozen or so welding table videos, and this one is definitely the one for me, well thought out and functional. I just need to downsize it a bit for my 2 car garage shop.
I bought this for my friend for his birthday as we just moved into a new house and he finally has room for a workshop. The bench was very easy to set up ruclips.net/user/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh They center support is a little difficult to snap in and out of place at first but at least then we know the bench is secure. It was a pleasant surprise when we saw it came with clamps. I apparently missed that in the description. My friend loves the versatility of the bench. Great starter bench for his workshop and easily transportable all over our property. I wish the bench was a little taller but the other features of the bench more than make up for that.
Awesome table Joe! I really like the drawers that are on the hinge! I’m hoping those winds die down so we can see that travel trailer! Great video as always man!
I don't usually write comments but it's not the first a saw a video from you and i just want to say that you have great idea et you're video are well made. Thumbs up. You give me good idea to my project.
Joe, I will never build a welding table but the video and your ingenuity are a pure joy to watch. My only concern is that Snap On might be a subscriber and they will be selling it for $5000, so keep an eye on them (even if they try to disguise it by painting it red!). Take care and kindest regards from across the pond.
haha... I'd be okay with that Tony! ... assuming they'd be willing to name it the 'Joe' or 'the Homesteadonomics' model or something like that... as well as give me a commission on each sale :D
Awesome table, thank you for the share.....any welder needs a solid/level table, and be as versatile as the one you built......I’ve welded in some hitch tube in order to slide in and out vises, grinders, and anything that can be mounted to a 2” tube and slide into a hitch tube, just a share...thank you✌🏻✌🏻
Nice job on your welding cart....I couldn't figure out what was the 4 new things you added to it. And your logo looks very nice! You do detailed work.....All the things you build are well made Joe!!!!
Thanks Marc! I'll give you the run down... 1- table holes on top 2- tool cabinet 3- mini plasma table insert 4- front slide out 5 - rubber stops on the leveling feet (haha... very simple one, but still an upgrade ;)
thanks Greg! These upgrades were a long time coming... so glad to have them up and finished....just in time for some travel trailer projects (steps, tongue box, etc,. )
Hey man. You need to put that design into mass production . That is a winning formula right there. .. That shit would retail at 4,000 bucks a unit. all day long.. Maybe more.. Kudos . Your engineering and fabrication skills are awesome.. I hope you get some thing from the time and effort you put into this design and build.. Absolutely world class...
This is such a great build!! You are really very talented with design & fabrication :) The only thing I would add for myself would be a wheel-locking flat-bar against the fixed casters. It could be foot actuated with spring-steel assisted unlock that would keep the table immobile without having to use the screw-levelers.
thanks Gregory! that's actually something that I really want to do as well... the non locking casters are really heavy duty but lack the conveinence of locking ones... I think I got swooned by the cool green color of them...lol
I just started to follow you and I can't stop watching your videos, you inspired me to build some projects at home, thanks for share your knowlege in the best clarity way possible.
Really a good idea to use that welding table like this instead of making a new one..very good job man..love to see you doing your job perfectly like this..keep it up..
yes, it would be but I'm planning on mounting a vise to a concreted post just off the shop awning so I can really use to crank on stuff if I need. keeping an eye out on CL for good older one :D
Great upgrade you made! I may have some comments, maybe you already figure it out, but I will share them with you. For the clamp maybe you could modify the clamp so you do not need to disassemble it and or use both hands to install it. You could also add some slots where the clamp may get in from the top without need to disassemble or take it into two parts. The idea of the circular hinge for later be able to setup stoppers or 90 degree angles it great! I love it! You may take something in considerations the female part may get stuff or filled with debris with the time. Maybe would be great to open the hole of the hinge all the way through so it never get obstructed or filled.
Man my name is mark I'm from Guyana I started watching your project and man your work look solid like a rock you look like someone that I can look up to in building anything knowing that it will be strong you are my inspiration man yeah! Even thou they say that look are deceiving I will take my chances hit me up when you get this I need some strong guidance I love making stuff than buying it
Nice, I've got two welding tables and both fairly useless! Now you've given me some great ideas to upgrade and turn mine into something useful. Great vid, well done
If the top had slots cut in it you wouldn't need to take the bar clamps apart and could use C-clamps. The abrasive saw sitting flush with the table top is a slick feature.
Yes, that world work well too... even better actually, but I wasn't sure with the thinner top if it might not stay flush... depending on the length of the slots that is. :D
Gday from Downunder, Great Welding Bench Joe. I have watched the Video over and over, and have decided to give it a go. Have ordered the Top Plate, with Holes, as well as all the other materials needed. I'm not the best welder, so it will be a challenge, but really looking forward to giving it a go, wish me luck, cheers, Dennis.
Love it! Thanks for the inspiration. Necessity is always the greatest inspiration. You should take the time to make plans and sell them for this table. It's a great design! Oh, and tell the Mrs happy Mother's Day!
thanks! I'm actually talking with Kelly from jackjacksmetal about maybe making up a detail set of plans... so we'll see! and yes I let the mrs know last night that you wished her a happy mothers day :)
Seeing this 2 yrs after you made it. How’s it holding up? I just bought a Vulcan Omnipro 220 from HF. This table is exactly what I need. As luck would have it a Industrial Metal Supply is close to my work. Thanks for sharing.
I really like your enhancements. I need to incorporate some of your ideas for the table I use with my everlast equipment. I especially like the slide outs and that plasma cutting section would be great for my powerplasma cutter.
Wow! Your projects define ingenuity. It's great that they evolve while being constructed. I believe having form follow function is a useful practice, as you demonstrate with your admirable success rate. p.s. Enjoyed the Olive cameo.
Very inspiring vido. I did use couple of your ideas together with idea of scissor lifting table. It turns to most useful table in the shop. The top I made from 30x50mm square tubing with 20mm spacing. In need I can put on top sheet of plywood for diferent use. Thanks for your good job.
It is absolutely incredible... There are lots of videos concerning welding and welding tables and stuff like that, but I found this one is the most interesting, detailed and practicle one of all. Thank you, I've got the inspiration needed.
Wow! That is some design! It is not only beautiful but 125% functional!! You put a LOT of thought into this build!!
Two years later, you inspired me to build my own welding table. But it's Will be fully from scrap... Congrats to your amazing project. You won one more follower. Cheers from Brazil.👏👏👏

man those are some really kind words Daniel! I try my best to improve with each one... thank you!!!
Exactly!!
When I thought there couldn't possibly be a better work bench, you make it even better. Love your work!
Love your comment about your design "inspiring" people to build their own tables. Thanks you did just that!!Great build!
Excellent upgrades Joe. Part of the advantages of doing it yourself is that you can usually modify to better suit your needs down the line without too much hassle.
Thanks Wayne! that's very true... I'm just excited to have this back in the 'making other things' stage versus making 'it' haha
The amount of features you have built into that table... I'm just in awe! VERY INSPIRATIONAL!
thanks so much Bob! I have had a lot of fun figuring this project out!! it's gotten a ton of use in the past several months!!
Great table to begin with and interesting upgrades. The engineering, welds, fit and finish look great from where I'm sitting. The video quality and presentation top notch. With all that said I gotta tell you the first 4 seconds where you are smoking the pipe and mig welding without looking was like a boss.
Dude.... as far as I'm concerned you are a mechanical genius. Thanks great creation/work.
Thanks! but way too kind...hahah... more of a mechanical trial and error guy until something works... and theres usually a lot of error ;)
I used to watching your table welder many times love it. That I thinking for my work shop one day
Every hobby welder features tables. All tables are clean, brand new, without a single scratch.
I had to get my hubby to watch our video, he's always building something for table to work on, so he watched and he said that awesome! So he wrote everything down, can't guarantee that will happen soon. Thanks sharing, your table is awesome, good job.
Awesome! It will be a super useful addition... let me know if he has any questions :)
Hi, this happens to me well. My wife used to say same thing. Lol
Oh Boy... Is my husband going to like your channel! Going to share this with him right now. He's retiring in a few years and wants to go back to welding.
Well, I'd be happy to have him watching :D Welding will be a great way to use his time as well as make some useful things for you both!
He might be interested in master welder Jody. I learned a lot from him.

Thanks Zac! yes, spring time is crazy around here... they cool it down some but it gets old...fast...lol
Great job as always. I like the way you think outside the box and how you execute your plan.
Thanks Daniel! but i was thinking about this one while sitting inside the shipping container 'box' so I hope that still counts...lol jk :)
I do love your self constructions. I also like how multi utilitarian this table is.
Thanks Myles!!
I don't usually write comments but it's not the first a saw a video from you and i just want to say that you have great idea et you're video are well made. Thumbs up. You give me good idea to my project.
You are an AMAZING craftman!! Such quality to all of your work!! God bless!!
thanks so much BG! I appreciate it :)
Like the way you've dovetailed your metal saws into the working of the table.
Making good, square cuts is much easier with a larger working surface.
Incredible work mate... RESPECT from Thailand/Tony

I'm in!
Congratulations my friend!!!
I admire your works and your skills!!!
May you always be well, I greet you from Greece!!!
A brilliant concept and an ideal table. The detailed specs at the end are very appreciated. Look forward to your future projects!
Great video on the upgrades. I particularly like the hand model section of the video. Pretty much, keep up the awesome work!
haha... I need to start wearing oven mitts for my hands now;) (George costanza..lol)
I applied your Ikea cabinet to my Northern Tool weld table. Space only allowed for 4 drawers but it works great. Thanks
Awesome table, thank you for the share.....any welder needs a solid/level table, and be as versatile as the one you built......I’ve welded in some hitch tube in order to slide in and out vises, grinders, and anything that can be mounted to a 2” tube and slide into a hitch tube, just a share...thank you✌🏻✌🏻
Great inspiration! I especially like how your logo turned out off of the plasma cutter (3:42). Fabulous!!
Nice job on your welding cart....I couldn't figure out what was the 4 new things you added to it. And your logo looks very nice! You do detailed work.....All the things you build are well made Joe!!!!
Thanks Marc! I'll give you the run down...
1- table holes on top
2- tool cabinet
3- mini plasma table insert
4- front slide out
5 - rubber stops on the leveling feet (haha... very simple one, but still an upgrade ;)
Sweet table, looks like you have pretty much every use covered.
thanks Mike!!
Well I loved the original build, but have blown me away with the up grades 👌.
SWEET upgrades, now that is a nice welding table!
thanks Greg! These upgrades were a long time coming... so glad to have them up and finished....just in time for some travel trailer projects (steps, tongue box, etc,. )
Best part is now you have a table you can do ALL sorts of things on after you have finished the trailer.

I just want to know where they make guys like you. Someone won the husband lottery😊 but seriously, your ambition is refreshing!
I just started to follow you and I can't stop watching your videos, you inspired me to build some projects at home, thanks for share your knowlege in the best clarity way possible.

Best table and video ever!!! Well done!!! Thank you for the parts list.
Very....very nice welding table...and inspiring me to build that soon
Job well done , strong enough to put a vise on if you want to.
yes, it would be but I'm planning on mounting a vise to a concreted post just off the shop awning so I can really use to crank on stuff if I need. keeping an eye out on CL for good older one :D
Really love your welding table. Looks very useful. Well thought out.
it's a nice multi-purpose table.I congratulate you.
Looks good Joe... Sorry I am running behind... Very busy time of year here... Keep on keeping on...

Great table. This is great. Good guy has hands of Gold ! Everything is well thought out . Hello you man from Kyrgyzstan !
welding is a skill everyone should know at least a little about it opens a whole new world of diy projects
yes, it does! since I started welding I've enjoyed it so much.... lots more you can do and it last forever (provided its weather proofed ;)
Man my name is mark I'm from Guyana I started watching your project and man your work look solid like a rock you look like someone that I can look up to in building anything knowing that it will be strong you are my inspiration man yeah! Thanks for the video! That table looks great!! I think it's just perfect!! Good work. 😎
I am stealing this design and adapting it for woodworking.
Nice table, man. Well designed.
I’m inspired.
The best work Table I ever seen . I'm copping it and make one! Thank you for the inspiration.
Excellent, many great ideas watching your build of this table. Clean, functional and well thought out. Thanks for sharing.
Один из самых продуманных столов что я видел, однозначно лайк.
Это факт!
Great post! Got lots of ideas to complete my welding table. Kudos!
That table is phenomenal. 😲 I would ask if it can possibly get any better, but knowing you it probably can. 🤣 Fantastic work, as always. 👍
another great build Joe
thanks Jason! I appreciate that from another multi-interest craftsman!!!
Excellent video, brilliant welding table. Gave me plenty of ideas! Thank you very much!
Great work I love what you did with the table
thanks!

looks like the best one on yt. i like the drawers for safety gear, keeps everything welding slag & grinder dust free
Thanks so much Jason! yes, the drawers have been a really welcomed and easy addition to the table :)
Perfeita sua table, procurei por ideias pra fazer uma pra mim, mas a sua é a melhor vou fazer igual. Com pequenas mudanças.very good...
I've been interested in welding and making a table for a while now, thanks for sharing what you built. Just subscribed.
Love it! Thanks for the inspiration. Necessity is always the greatest inspiration. You should take the time to make plans and sell them for this table. It's a great design! Oh, and tell the Mrs happy Mother's Day!

Very impressive design and build quality Joe. You really engineered a lot of flexibility. Well done!
Amazing!!!!! Congratulations my friend !!!!

Is it almost time to make the shop bigger?? haha
It looks fantastic! The finish is great too.
Thanks John! I've been really happy with this table..I use it for soooo much :)
lovely work. the table looks too good to use. Just frame it and stick it on a wall....
Inspires me to give it a try.
Lots of great details.thanks for the specifics they make it much easier to adapt to my needs and preferences
Seeing this 2 yrs after you made it. How’s it holding up? I just bought a Vulcan Omnipro 220 from HF. This table is exactly what I need. As luck would have it a Industrial Metal Supply is close to my work. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent design my friend...Thank so much...I like so much your work bench...God Bless you...
I really like your enhancements. I need to incorporate some of your ideas for the table I use with my everlast equipment. I especially like the slide outs and that plasma cutting section would be great for my powerplasma cutter.
Uma bela de uma bancada 😉 parabéns ótimo trabalho 👍👍👏
It's hard to believe you built that in your back yard. It looks precision, factory made!
Thanks! but if you look closely you'll see that its' far from factory made. But I'm happy with it and it serves its purpose well :)
Awesome table, love the added upgrades after watching the first video!
Joe great job on the table. Well thought out. Bear Down!
Thank you Henry!
Another well thought out project and build. Nice going Joe!
Thanks for checking it out Jody!
I really liked the table. Your channel is great. One more subscribed from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro.
Wow! Your projects define ingenuity. It's great that they evolve while being constructed. I believe having form follow function is a useful practice, as you demonstrate with your admirable success rate. p.s. Enjoyed the Olive cameo.
That is an AWESOME table!
That's a really neat table!
Very inspiring vido. I did use couple of your ideas together with idea of scissor lifting table. It turns to most useful table in the shop. The top I made from 30x50mm square tubing with 20mm spacing. In need I can put on top sheet of plywood for diferent use. Thanks for your good job.
