Amazing Video! I did everything as in the video but I don’t have Audio. I did not connect the + and - from the canbus cable to the decoder (green wires) yet. Is that the reason? I thought it‘s only for steering wheel Control
In order to get backlit illumination, I *think* I use a wire called "Key 2" on my android head unit because this is the key position where all my backlights illuminate in the car. If so, then I would connect to the third wire on the cigarette lighter as you did. Am I on the write track?
Thanks for a great and detailed installation video. I followed your steps and have connected everything including the Canbus, and the decoder box. I am NOT getting any sound from the speakers. Everything else works fine including steering wheel controls. I double checked the red and white plugs on the decoder box and they are plugged into the right ones. I had also connected my backup camera wireless transmitter with the power and ground cables and it’s showing power so that is not the case either. I don’t believe I missed anything.
If you can provide some troubleshooting tips that would be great. Thanks again!
One other thing I wanted to ask- the Seicane unit came with the radio antenna but my factory radio did not have an antenna cable. Is it coming from the fiber? I’m just confused.

How many speakers your car have? Do you have factory subwoofer in trunk? Is the sound quality and BASS the same as before with factory headunit or possibly better or worse with installed Android headunit? Thank you
I have all the factory and no subwoofer. The quality is the same as before, but the sound is slightly lower
Amazing Road TV Harman Kardon audio system without subwoofer in trunk? That's impossible. Go check it out, the subwoofer is behind rear headrest, or you can open the trunk and look upwards and you will see subwoofer there.

Very useful video but I have one problem with my W211. When I connect the optical decoder with the aux in and out there are not any sound. Everything work, even the command from steering wells and everything but no sound. Did you know where is the problem?
I do not know if you know this, but do you know if there is a way to connect a backup camera and if so was the plug there? I have been told you can just plug one in but I want to make sure. Also, is there coax cables for a subwoofer there too? Thank you!

I have some questions.
1. You Said if you do not habe japanes and american Version of the comand it is Just plug and play. All will work. Does it mean same for the canbus? So i do not have to cut the wires?
2. The optic Decoder is the same? Only remove from the connector and plug and play to the Decoder?.

I replaced the srock stereo wi to android like this one, i got the fiber decoder too but no sound, the decoder has one light red blinking, the guy who installed it for me says the decoder not working defective. And I’m not sure if that’s true or not

You did not find Canbus? I will say that I used to have a steering wheel on the right side. It is made for japan. Maybe this will help you.
I have installed a similar device ZLTOOPAI ANDROID 10 W203 MODEL 2004 SPORT COUPE.i have noticed that the device is working at high temperatures 95c and in idle 65c-75c.The chip is RK3368 8core 1.5 with 4gb ram 64 flash memory disk.Is their any way to reduce temps cos it has DVD ,I haven't opened it but I search similar videos and I can't find.Also how I can have root access to rk3368 to install kernel tools to tweak the CPU undervolting and underclocking to reduce thermals.

If you have a Mercedes 211 with Harman Kardon sound system, you need one more cable that you connect from the radio to the leather amplifier in the trunk. This way, what you did will not play well.
But good work that you could connect in this way.

for the steering wheel controle, there is a P2 cable, that looks just like an aux cable. I put mine on, but for some reason it didnt work ( Im using a pioneer head). Is there any extra wire that should've been conected in order to make the steering wheel control?

I also have this problem. At home, the radio test worked fine. When plugged into the car, the radio did not catch the channels. I did not connect the antenna, I listen to the radio via the Internet

Can this CANBUS work on Mercedes W210? when you measure the CANBUS connecting wire, the voltage shows 11.26, seems it is car's battery voltage, and - wire seems ground, am I correct? I can not get that voltage from my W210 CANBUS two wires, do you know where is the problem? thank you.
The same thing I wrote another person who had W211. He also said that his voltage is below 11 volts. To be honest, I do not know.

I have the yellow wire (b +) connected to the yellow wire of the original radio (constant power) and I have the red wire (acc) connected to the cigarette lighter. The MOST box in the video has Yellow, Black and Red wires, but on the website there is only Yellow and Black, no Red cable (ACC). I also have the Red wire, where do you connect it?

Hey Mate i did this some years ago and the only Problem i had, that i cannot open the storage in the midle thing. When you press the Silver/Chrom Button. It comes out. Now i have the 2 wires but dont know where they belong.

Seems astonishing that someone would go to so much trouble to connect all those wires, but just twist them together and wrap them in PVC tape.
It's guaranteed that one of the joints will work loose, probably even before the PVC goes hard and unsticks (which will only take a few years).
Doing it properly would have been very little extra work.

@@AmazingRoad Yes thank you for trying. Unfortunately you showed people how not to do it. That really is not as helpful as it could have been.
Seems a pity because you went to so much trouble to film the fitting. Soldering the joints, or even using Wago connectors would have been very little more effort. Using the correct tape would have been no more work.

i loosened the two screws under the radio but the radio still doesn't pull out. It holds in place like its still fastened to something. I have an E55.

If you have a German original connector, then do not connect all these wires. look at 3:10
