Cake waffles! No waffle mix, no problem!

These were so easy and my family loved them! For this recipe, I used a box cake mix, mixed according to package directions. I used dark chocolate fudge but you can use your favorite! I used a cup of batter for the first waffle and had a small amount of spill over, it was an easy clean up. For the rest, I used between 1/2- 2/3 cup of batter and while they didn't turn out as perfectly round and full as the first, there wasn't any spill over. We topped with whipped cream for an early birthday celebration for me, you can top with any of your favorite toppings. I used my new Farberware waffle maker from Walmart, it works great and is so easy to clean so far!
