Surat al-Isra starts with Subhan, this is tanzih - clear Allah from non befitting attributes or likening Him to His creations. Prophet Muhammad heard the Kalam(Speech) of Allah at that location just as Prophet Musa heard the Kalam (Speech) of Allah when he (Prophet Musa) was at Jabal at-Toor. It doesnt mean Prophet Musa 'met' Allah at that mountain. Allahu laysa kamithlihi shay` Allah is not a body, a form or an image and is not attributed with bodily characteristics like size, mass, limits to be in a place. Abu Mansur al-Baghdadi in his book al-Farqu bayn al-Firaq narrated the consensus on the saying of Imam Ali "Allah created the Throne as an indication of His Power and did not take it as a place for Himself"

Sorry but thats incorrect... Musa (as) was the only prophet (as far as we have been taught) that talked to allah directly, without any angel acting as a messenger between the two... Although allah did talk to prophet muhammad (pbuh) occasionally, most of the time an angel (mostly gibreel) would convey allah's message to the prophet and vice versa...

Yes Allah does what he wills. This great true story just made my imaan more stronger because it shows the amazing capabilities of our creator. If Allah could create Adam from clay and bring us all back to life after we have died on the day of judgement, why do you think it is a big deal for Prophet Musa to be in the story of Isra walmiraj?
This happened during al Miraj and musa alehi salam was in the sixth heaven so when nabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam came down to the sixth heaven that's when musa alehi salam asked him basically his soul was in the sixth heaven except isa ibn Maryam alehi salam who is alive with his body and soul
