All 4 are stellar, but Au5’s version was unreal because he only used the sample and nothing else.
AU5's was absolute trash honestly, too many drastic changes without consistency.

sinn r That’s sound design and being a music producer in a nutshell. You can’t just simply come up with an idea with a snap of a finger. It takes multiple passes until you’re completely satisfied with what you’ve created.
Even more so when you’re given a sample that’s mundane as a door creaking.

Ya know, I think it would be very hard (for me) to not know Au5, considering
#1: I was a Monstercat boy for a solid two or three years, there on every release
#2: My social studies teacher brought up the fact that she fricking taught him in middle school back when I was in 8th grade. The amount of excitement that occurred due to that interesting little fact, I cannot express. It's a small world, my friends.

@@kwertie133 correct me if I'm wrong but AU5 generated absolutely all the sounds in his song from one mundane audio clip while all the other producers used a bunch of supplemental tools and sounds not originally sourced from the door squeak. It's one kind of talent to integrate a sample effectively in your song, it's another talent entirely to make the song solely from one audio clip

Not so true, they just are on camera so they have to behave properly to not risk beeing judged by the others. You can also see, the more they comment a song, the more uncomfortable they are feeling while listening to it(it not always like that but in this case it is)

I went to grade school with Austin Collins. He's always been extremely talented. Both of his parents are gifted artists. His mother paints and his father does music. He was already making music like this in 7th/8th grade. Talented pianist as well.
Whenever I'm tempted to record "just one more" element for a song I'm working on..I stop and remember what you guys did with 1 sample. 😍

I feel very fortunate to be in your list and to have made an impression. I don't socialize much since I'm so introverted and busy tryin' to do my own creative things on the internet, so I really do make a point to connect with the communities and people who consume the same content as me, as it's likely that we have something in common. It also helps me be less judgmental because it challenges my perception of people on the internet not being real people.
So, to click on everyone's username, see their stories, compliment that which I like about them (because we never do compliment the ordinary folk enough in this society, but over compliment the elite) and offer to connect further if we've some common ambitions, is just such a pleasure and helps me feel grateful for being alive today. It truly is a great time to be alive.
That said, I LOVE your profile picture of Yoshi with the shades. I didn't watch your video because I'm personally not into Fortnite or gaming except on rare exception, but wish you all the fun in the world with your gaming. I've played so many heckin' games in my teens that I've had my fill and am more excited now by things like composing music and what-not.
