AU5's reaction to Andrew's reverse sounds was gold. Reminded of those kids videos where the kids are so awestruck about what they saw. I loved all 4 tracks!!
ill.Gates was mind blowing with his modularity. Drum & Lace’s ambience was ethereal and other worldly. Au5 is a freaking MASTER. Omg. Such a groove, my fav. Andrew delivers such a slick, fire melody my mind melts with his expertise. Yoo everybody was so fire 😭😭😭 Inspiring to an beginner producer like me. Although all the knowledge on display is daunting 😂 Edit: The rap vox/switch up at the end of Andrew’s.....BRUH! 🤯
I went to grade school with Austin Collins. He's always been extremely talented. Both of his parents are gifted artists. His mother paints and his father does music. He was already making music like this in 7th/8th grade. Talented pianist as well.

And just to balance the comments out a bit: I genuinely loved every single track. But if I had to pick the one that spoke the most to my personal taste, it would be Drum and Lace all the way. Creepy, cool, different. Deciding to slow the sample down was _such_ a great idea to start with.

Meanwhile they're hearing it for the first time and can identify exactly what's been done do the sample at different parts just from hearing it for a brief second... Really interesting, I love how different everyone goes with it, it's a nice reminder that music isn't a single path - you can go any direction you want with it. Really fun listening to these, I loved the atmosphere of Drum & Lace's version - that was absolutely stunning - I love AU5 and have been listening to his stuff for forever, so it was interesting to see his style come out in it, and Andrew's was also very much my style. ill.Gates' was also neat, that's not generally the style I listen to but I loved the vocals and it was really interesting what he did with it. Yeeeeaa
Lock Collier and Huang in a room and watch the magic
Yes!!!
Yes please
Drum & Lace's track - This feels like jumping into Tron: Eastern Block edition.
AU5 talking about his craft is like a scientist in a sci-fi movie.
Au5 killed it and holy crap that Andrew Huang drop is insane
The Andrew Huang drop still gives me chills after a bazillion listens. His drop here and Mr. Bill's syncopated glitch drop in a different "Producer's Flip the Same Sample" video just absolutely blow my mind. What a time it is to be alive!
Also, may I please say! Excellent channel! Your featured video is brilliant (the Chainsmokers Cover) and I LOVE THE SUBTITLES, what a nice touch!
As well as that, I watched "Gryffin, Illenium x Pachelbel - Feel Good vs. Canon in D | Piano vs EDM (Mashup)" and how did you even come up with this? That's crazy. I know the harmonic progression in Canon D is overly simple as canons generally are (unless you're J. S. Bach of course who goes beast mode with his Crab Canon), but that's some crazy brainstorming.
You've earned a sub.
All the best and can't wait to see where you go Turbo!
Your Pal,
Connor.
@@tronkiechannel thanks so much for the in depth comment - I really appreciate that homie, and yes what an amazing series that Andrew Huang put together!
@@Turbosc My pleasure! There's also another similar series on ZHC's channel for visual artists with an insane budget as well. He pays incredible artists triple what they ask for to draw the same pictures! You might like that also.
All the best pal,
Connor.
@@tronkiechannel ive seen that! thank you
I understood everything that everyone said in the video.

idk why anyone wouldnt lmao
Proud of you bro
Favorite moment has to be 3:16... When ski mask dude comes in with the hip hop vocals and Anne Hathaway is just like "........................ Okay........".
Rofl!!!
*"What the fah-"*
*_No Cursing On Andrew's Musical Server_* 😂
Wow, drum and lace was amazing🔥😍
ill gates work station looks like vintage villain underground lair.
Never been 13 hours early for a Andrew video lol
Dude wtf
Ok
Wtf
Wait...how
😅🤣😭
Au5 definitely gave me some Savant vibes. Can we get Him next?? He goes nuts with sound design
“Is every body in” thats a doors reference. Clever Ill, very clever.
what if 4 producers remix different parts of one whole song and you combine them to make a new song?
That could be a new series I think... it would be interesting for sure!
There was a series called "Collab Alliance" which was kind of a similar idea. Would love to see something like that again
Like pink prophecy?
3 producers each make one part of a song, Andrew mixes them so the transitions work and the song sounds cohesive
@@Jepysauce yeah i was thinking of something similar to that
History repeating itself... First we got the virtual roit show, now we get the au5 show? 😂 Andrew you madman
I love how you can hear their personalities in the music they made. Like ill's was electronic, like an energetic personality, drum and lace's was kina spooky, like a badass personality, Au5's was spacey, like a chill personality and andrew's was like a funky type beat, like a fun-loving personality
AU5's reaction to Andrew's reverse sounds was gold. Reminded of those kids videos where the kids are so awestruck about what they saw. I loved all 4 tracks!!
yo dj vj :P
19:27
Never knew I wanted a Death Grips/Andrew Huang collab.
These 4 producer flips are some of your best videos. Loved every track.
It goes it goes it goes squeak
Why does ill live in a spaceship
LOL
he makes so many sounds that modern producers use, and they're all analogue, and it's great
@@Corsaka And he makes them in a spaceship
The correct question is "why not?"
ill.Gates was mind blowing with his modularity.
Drum & Lace’s ambience was ethereal and other worldly.
Au5 is a freaking MASTER. Omg. Such a groove, my fav.
Andrew delivers such a slick, fire melody my mind melts with his expertise.
Yoo everybody was so fire 😭😭😭
Inspiring to an beginner producer like me. Although all the knowledge on display is daunting 😂
Edit: The rap vox/switch up at the end of Andrew’s.....BRUH! 🤯
a*
Drum and Lace's sounds like it belongs in a Devolver Digital game and I'm here for it.
it actually belongs to a game, Assassin's Creed II main theme, go take a listen. I'm kind of amazed no one noticed so far
I went to grade school with Austin Collins. He's always been extremely talented. Both of his parents are gifted artists. His mother paints and his father does music. He was already making music like this in 7th/8th grade. Talented pianist as well.
ill gates: dubstep crazy stuff
Drum & Lace: weird surreal stuff
Au5: Electro chill house
Andrew: chill wubby crazy stuff
You just made me not hate electronic. I like seeing the work that was put in.
That's the biggest thing with electronic music, 'OH SO YOU CAN'T REALLY PLAY AN INSTRUMENT LOL YOU JUST PRESS A FEW BUTTONS' and then I put them in front of a daw and watch them not even know how to make a sound
You my friend get a like for that comment.
@@tomkenning5482 Honestly, lol. "This song sounds like my washing machine breaking hurr durr" Just makes me giggle internally knowing how much they don't know. Then I realize how much I don't know even though I've been doing this for 5+ years and sit in silence.
Whenever I'm tempted to record "just one more" element for a song I'm working on..I stop and remember what you guys did with 1 sample. 😍
ill.Gates knows exactly what he's doing and it scares me
Ill Gates and Andrew Huang's tracks blew me away. I think this is the best episode yet!
Nah fam. Virtual riot was the epitome of this series. Nobody tops him. His sound design and drops and cleanliness were above and beyond.
@@rohannagarkar608 His was really good, I'll have to go back and watch it again.
@@rohannagarkar608 VR fanboy lol
Au5 is an absolute virtuoso... the way he produced that beauty from the sample alone demonstrates his insane skills and talent. The man's a magician.
Is it just me or does it seem that RUclips music produces have the sickest hair?
because they're on RUclips. it attracts attention in thumbnails.
Peter Tate u havent hair, right?
no they all have cringe hair
No they all look like libtards
Peter Tate youtube producer here. My hair isn’t that awesome
132 people waiting, 5 hours pre-release, tell me this isn't one of the coolest things on youtube lol
And just to balance the comments out a bit: I genuinely loved every single track. But if I had to pick the one that spoke the most to my personal taste, it would be Drum and Lace all the way. Creepy, cool, different. Deciding to slow the sample down was _such_ a great idea to start with.
Au5 track was absolutely perfect. Andrew yours was a serious mixup of different styles, Ill gates gave that glitchy vibe which is always a nice change up.
And space laces gave that atmosphere. wait what
last time, virtual riot absolutely killed it, this time..... damn Andrew, your remix was beautiful. This series is so much fun, I learn about new youtubers and hear so many slammin mixes! Love this series, keep it up! peace!
Drum & Lace's track was my favorite one honestly. I love the atmosphere and how visual it felt.
I love how I'm sitting here as each of these incredibly talented people are talkign about what they've done to that sample nodding away like "Yup, yup, okay, I see, that's a word, I-don't-have-a-clue-what-literally-any-of-this-means, oh wait I know what a drum is" while they're sitting there explaining what they're doing.
Also those giant switchboards, wow, it's been awhile since I've seen someone doing it so analog!
Andrew: What's the door?
Au5: Yes.
Au5 is just a complete sound design and music genius. He killed it! Loved everyone elses tracks too! I love how Andrew gets really talented people here every single time
I would like to say. These tracks are so amazing. I personally love them all. Andrew please keep this series going. Love it. Amazing . Much respect to you all.
