Absolutely, CC's ROTY vote should have been unanimous BUT, if you go to a restaurant and get horrendous service what is more insulting to the server: leaving no tip or a 25¢ tip? This could be taken as an insult to Reese.
Fans don't vote on these awards tho, Julian lol. The coaches, media, and beat writers do & you can actually vote for your own players, so I think a Chicago Sky beat writer/media member probably was the 1 vote. Where I disagree tho is that unanimous matters. It doesn't. When you win an award, that's what matters in history. The amount of votes you get to win it in the grand scheme really doesn't mean anything. I also disagree that Reese only rebounds. That's not true at all. She's actually a good playmaker for a PF, but she didn't get to show that all that much. Her last year at LSU, she brought the ball up the court a decent amount and set up her teammates for good shots. Even in some Sky games, she set up players at times. She's a good passer/playmaker. She has good form on her shot and can make jump shots, but she lacks confidence and has a very slow and low release. That has to be fixed. It's also very hard to win unanimous ROTY. It's only happened once & that's Candace Parker, one of the Top10 players maybe to ever play in the W. I don't totally disagree with your points, but I think they're exaggerated a bit
This is why most fans that are Caitlin Clark fans won't support the wnba outside of Caitlin and the fever until they fully embrace her and accept her. Just shows how pathetic these people really are
Its ok she didnt received 1 vote, important is CAITLYN CLARK is voted and won ROY 2024,and she deserved that award cause it shows that CC has tremendous and wondrous TALENT in basketball with class😊😊😊👏👏👏👏 Congrratulations PHENOM❤❤❤❤

The better Reese's stats were the worse her team lost.
