      lol hospitality professionals themselves are not happy in their jobs. 16-18 hours of work 7 days a week, no overtime pay, hardly any offs, no personal life, superiors think you're a machine which can function 24*7. Hospitality in India is a black hole. ☠️

    I am also a hospitality graduate.I was hardly earning 25k a month in India at my second job.
    I started working in Maldives a year ago.I almost saved 12 lakh rupees in a year.
    Working in Maldives is a good option to save money for hospitality graduates.

      @@sumitupreti9009 I have worked in Mauritius u get free food .. 2 meals as in breakfast lunch or lunch dinner .. but accommodation is usually deducted from salary u just don't know about it .. depends on the contract

    Pay has improved now.
    Back in 2008 as an Intern I use to earn INR 450 per month and in 2009 as a Management Trainee with ITC the pay was INR 12000 plus accommodation

      Yes but his retirement is in 4 years so he has reached there after an experience of 26 years. You cannot compare that to a college graduated person without exoerience. He might earn 50 lakhs after 26 years of experience for all you know. With inflation the salaries also increase.

      Currency and living standards can't be compared this quick. There's a scale called ppp and if you check there , based on living costs , cost of goods, others bills , it's typical middle to lower middle class pay

    Bhai MT may 50k it’s 8th wonder till now I have seen pay for MT starting 20-20k and it will whole life to get 50k salary in hotel industry and when I was working in hotel my hotel GM age is like 40 and Their kinds are 6-8years old

    ( Usa)
    Domestic average pakage around 6 lakh ( 3 years experience) then increase.....
    2 to 3 % students ko 50k milta hain 1st main ...
    But bhai ka swage 🙂.

    Hotel management degree is just for the glamour. Half of us are unemployed or either left the jobs that were once offered & accepted by us at the time of campus placement drive. The pay is low, so much of work, lets not forget the fact that most people dont even get good brands under them even if they are much talented solely because the face value of the other person was much attractive to the recruiters.

    You get better in Hyderabad max 3.5 L
    And for training literally he need to pay 10L

      Aaisa ni hai..... First salary 15k hogi but after that uh gain experience... Then there is no limit... A chef in 5 star hotel is easily earn 1-2 lakh rupee per month ....
      Or In foreign uh cann earn around 4-5 lakh per month.... Hotel job is all about skill and experience
