My friend and I (both chronically ill) were gutted we couldn't go this year. She was saying it has a really good reputation for access.
Well, not anymore, and not anymore.

Great Video, we were in camp D which was mixed in with general population we had 3 toilets for the whole disability area, but because we were mixed in with general population, everyone used them, and then 1 shower, that was so far away, there was no chance of me getting there, it was also the only place with running water, luckily we have the campervan, so can live off grid for a week, except the toilet obviously lol

I love this Sam & Ally! I've not been to a festival since I started using a wheelchair and I'd love to, but I've definitely been nervous about it. Even though access wasn't grand this video is great at managing my expectations 😂 looking forward to the next installment, and would also love a general festival tips video too! 🤘🏻

‪Was considering it next year if it’s financially feasible for me but don’t think I’ll be aiming for it after seeing how appalling access was at times. A bad experience at Slam Dunk recently too has really put me off attempting bigger festivals 😬

I was last at Download in 2012, and their level of accessibility then was pretty much as you described here. The lack of improvement over 11 years is frustrating and disappointing (but unsurprising)

Just as a note, they increased access customers by 82%, not 88. It confirmed that in the access guide.

It was awful this year. So much worse than last year. My last time going to Download for the foreseeable.

This was not a good example for years at download they really messed up everything especially access.
