Joe, I ran into this problem myself. Some of the bulkhead fittings do not match up with cam lock style adapters. I found I had to use a fernco fitting from Lowe’s and just slide it over the fitting and clamp it down. It works great, zero leaks.
Yeah I ordered mine from pressure washer products 2" cam lock to 2" FPT Then I got the adapter 2" MPT to 1.5" FPT Then I just did 1.5" fittings from there to barbs for the 1.5" hose
PW is about 200Lbs, motor 103 Lbs, pump 40Lbs, all the other parts make up the rest. But it would be easier to pick up in Joe's orientation being gear reduction drive.

Yup camlock will wicked work get ya! Get a piece of 6x6 to hold the plumbing vertical and knock the stress off the cap you’re looking at is a temporary shipping cap used to prevent spills in transit.
3” cam locks from Tractor Supply or similar store. It will slip over your valve nipple and lock on to it. You can get female or male threads on the other end. I have my tanks set up this way.
Check out that link, I use a cam lock to npt adapter. I believe mine is banjo name brand. I’ll send my exact part to you tomorrow via text message around lunch.
It's a 2" camlock fitting. I have one on mine. Made of aluminum. It has 2" npt female threads on it. Then I use pvc fittings to adapt to your suction line.
@@powerfulimprovements instead of using the camlock and then a bunch of adaptors and hoseclamps, I went to a specialty hose place and had a 2" assembly made up that has the cam on one end and the proper hookups for my machines on the other. lots of flow, and very clean looking.
joe, I saw all kinds of different IBC tote fittings on amazon a few weeks ago. you can probably overnight ship them too. try using keywords like "rain barrel" too
I’m guessing you already found a solution but you might have good luck at tractor supply if you have one locally. 2” female cam lock with threads on the end to fit your adapter. I ordered on that gates down to a hose barb if I need to feed water to a portable unit off of the trailer.
That’s is a camlock “fitting” valve. You can keep that one in making it easy to take off or swap it for a plain by threaded valve. Easy fix. I would leave the camlock for easy take off
No it’s the part you asked about a special threads. That is actually a male fitting not female. Like these guys said go to tractor supply or somewhere similar and you should find these.
That black box for the battery I'd put the hole on the back not the top if u could then after u can just buy a grommet for it and water won't go in when it rains u pointed at the top is all
@@powerfulimprovements awesome! The lower gpm washers i use don't have fuel pumps, so i bought a pump. Still haven't reconfigured for this season yet though.
That dude just picked up and carried GX690 Pressure Washer like it was nothing 😲

Joe,
You have a camlock style valve. Get a camlock adapter with tread on the other end. This way you can connect the tread pipe. I hope that helps.
That is what i did to have as a 2inch drain

2 or 3" camlock (gatorlock from tractor supply) with either mnpt or fnpt then a reducer and/or barb
Just need to point out.. Mike C needed 2 people to lift his 8gpm…. Joe walked out of the shed.. strolling with it solo
Jesus, I had the same thought😳
Brothers, I can’t lift my legs without help!
Let’s also point out that I’ve never tipped over my oil pan, like an idiot!😊

Are you sure 3" and not 2". My tote has a different style valve but it's a 2" cam lock.

This is exactly my setup
So impressed with the McGyver but yeah a 2 " or 3" camlock over that will work for sure.
✌🏼❤️
Hi Joe! Ouch on the oil spill. I am going to try “BacKrete” on oil stains this year.
Let me know if it works
Camlock from tractor supply, I just went through this on my rebuild.
Quick and slick.. I like it..
I had the exact same issue on my old rig. as others have suggested, I had to use a cam-lock adaptor

The guy you bought the tanks from might have the adapters for this or could tell you where you can get them.
Good luck 👍
Just carries the machine out lmfao 🤣 then tomorrow morning wondering why u can't get outta bed lol I bet that was heavy for sure

Gator Lock 2 in. Camlock Quick Coupler, part B at tractor supply is what i use

They have male and female camlocks. You need a 2 inch camlock size wise
Gator/Cam lock from tractor supply
Mikey like it …MIKEY LIKE IT !!!!
I don’t know what happened after Joe carried the 8gpm all by HIMSELF! I lost it! 😂😂 Mike C need some learning to do! 😅

Looks like a 3" camlock fitting on your tank
Do you mean where the valve meets the tank? Silver ring?

No problem I’m new to this stuff and have learned a lot from you. Still in the process of building my rig hopefully will be ready early spring.

Will that gas tank need to be higher than the pressure washer to gravity feed or is there a fuel pump somewhere in the mix?
The gx690 has a fuel pump. So it pulls
