I'm so SO glad I saved Dathomir for later. Before the game came out I'd heard from some who had already played some of it that early on you can go to Dathomir but if you do it's extremely difficult. I ended up going to Zeffo, Kashyykk, back to Zeffo, back to Bogono, Back to Kashyykk, and then finally to Dathomir. I ended up finding it difficult but no more so than the other planets and that's in large part because I was so much better at the combat, my lightsaber was already a double blade ( you can get the upgrade at a work bench on Bogono), and my health was vastly improved and of course I had so much more powers and abilities than I would have if I'd gone there earlier. Dathomir seems to play better this way, as if the developers intended for you to go later but decided to allow you to go earlier if you wanted.

I actually only used the double bladed saber sparingly. Against groups, especially beasties, the dual blades were pretty good. Against everything else, especially duels with Purge Troopers and Dark Jedi, I found single blade far more efficient.
@@Syenthros That's pretty much how they intended for it to work, I still primarily use the single blade. My problem is I forget the double-blade even exists, so I'm always using health stims and nearly dying against packs. God, I suck.
Older stream, I know, but my first encounter with Star Wars was the original trilogy. I had first seen the original trilogy on DVDs at both my nana’s and uncle’s house. We had 2 video stores in my town (1 currently still running). The one that closed down was where I got Episode 1, ESB, and ROTJ. We did rent them, but I’m pretty sure either the store closed after we had them, or the owner let me have them, because I still have all 3 of those VHS tapes😂. I’ve been following Star Wars since I was at least 3 years old. I’m 19 now
My oldest memory of star wars was a dark figure with a helmet (seen from behind) staring into the abyss of space, followed by a scene including 3 triangular shaped spaceships (seen from above) passing each other.... (the described scene of course is from "The empire strikes back" during the millennium falcon in the astroid fields) Since i had seen this, spaceships became a part of my life and my personallity! Later on Mass effect and Halo followed!
I started this series (JFO) @ part 4, because Ilum. It's a good watch while i'm having a meal. I'll catch the rest of this one later; i gotta restart the craputer so i can SWTOR again. Keep on carrying on!

SWT: gets something spoke to him
Also SWT: repeats what he just heard from a piece he got
I remember the gold VHS set, my grandad had it. I grew up with the original VHS' and even a comic book and screen play book for the empire strikes back/ROTJ. I remember finding it so weird watching the gold VHS set with the weird CGI add-ins.
Ive got the game yesterday and went to dathomir and got one shotted by something, but when i saw getting a orange double bladed lightsaber i freaked it
Mu first star wars moment was as a kid at the drive in. I got to see it twice and was so blown away I cried when I couldn't see it a third time. I heard the disco version of the song before that and up to my first viewing I thought that was the soundtrack 😆. Later I owned a cdr copy, on a disc(not laserdisc) along with Tron and the final MASH episode.
The sound of him spamming the force button when it’s empty keeps making me laugh😂 just parry already
I had same box set for Christmas in 90s, bronze/gold case & really first time I got really into Star Wars. Prob 95-96 or so well before phantom menace.
That whole ball puzzle is why you were bullied. I can not believe it took you that long.
That is one scarily-good Palpatine impression you have there, sir!
Cal Kestis: Wipes out an entire group of like 10 stormtroopers without breaking a sweat
The last Stormtrooper: I got this
Prince of Persia will have you doing that constantly wall running and flipping.
upgrades blocking in the first half hour....continues to simply hack and slash his way through lol love watching your streams and videos of this game and other content as well
My first encounter with Star Wars? Seeing Episode 4: A New Hope at the Lewiston Drive-in when it originally Released... It was also the first time I saw the Aurora Borealis. Good times :)
My first encounter with star wars was when my brother said "hey, has Gary ever seen star wars?"
If you got the double blade upgrade at Bogano it actually made more sense as Cal solders Cardovas saber to his own and it actually has dialogue.
Love the channel and the playthrough but man I gotta admit it's frustrating my man has been playing for like 5 hours at this point and doesn't realise resting respawns enemies, can't identify climb walls and doesn't realise you can't use the force on anything that isn't blue outlined.
You can also force push the rockets back at enemies if you time it right
Your video on the Jedi Fallen Order game is amazing
The scout trooper thats used as an example when you unlock a new attack should get a raise
Once I received the double bladed I never looked back. It's so badass.
Ill probably never be able to get the game but when i would get my double bladed, I'll immediatly act like Maul xD
@@stareater1870 Saaaame. I actually became very good at single blade because I forgot about dual blade. XD
I’m 19 now
To deflect snowtroopers with bazooka wait until 1second after the red light you will force push the missile
My oldest memory of star wars was a dark figure with a helmet (seen from behind) staring into the abyss of space, followed by a scene including 3 triangular shaped spaceships (seen from above) passing each other.... (the described scene of course is from "The empire strikes back" during the millennium falcon in the astroid fields)
Since i had seen this, spaceships became a part of my life and my personallity! Later on Mass effect and Halo followed!
I started this series (JFO) @ part 4, because Ilum. It's a good watch while i'm having a meal. I'll catch the rest of this one later; i gotta restart the craputer so i can SWTOR again.
Keep on carrying on!
B-1 is a really cool bot to have he can see behind you and things you are not aware of. looks great so far.
I wish i could experience kashyyyk again for the first time. What a fucking moment
1:03:34 Is it the way of a Jedi to attack someone from behind?
Great video, anyway.
I have spoken.
My dad also showed me Star Wars on a VHS then after binge watching the og trilogy he showed me his collection of over 300 Star Wars cards from 1977
