My mum taught me how to lace shoes many years ago yet on YT looking it up 😁. Copped some AJ1 SE (White/Blue Grey-Black-Sail). Seems this loose method is the best (the normal way), as long as the heel and tongue doesn't slip around. Good vid, great tip at the end 🙏.
Thank you so much for the tip on the last part. I was having a hard time looking for alternative videos on how to finish at the end of the shoe lace. 😁
This was very helpful because my aunt bought me some air jordan 1 low craft ivory and just came with the laces not on the shoes. This vid helped a lot new sub❤️
Excellent vid! Thanks. Sometimes it’s nice to get a refresher for certain kicks. Depending which shoe/style the lace game changes up. I see a few who say they get confused on the other shoe. Just make sure to start Outside to inside like you did on the first shoe 👍 pause the tv or get away from any distractions in the background as well. That can def help!
@@ShoeDIYyea except for the 3-4 typos I overlooked 😆 I made it more clear now lol. Thanks for the response too. Have an excellent day/night and keep up the great and useful content ✊
"Hey Shoe DIY, just wanted to say how much I appreciate your tutorial on lacing Jordan shoes. Your instructions were clear and super helpful. Thanks for sharing your expertise and creativity with us. Keep up the great work! You're amazing!"
In this tutorial, I started lacing across from the outside of the shoe first. If you do this on both shoes, the lacing style on both shoes will mirror each other 😁
Hi, you could pull all the laces in a bit, working your way up the shoe. If the shoes are still slipping, you could try to put a knot in each loop (made at the end of the lacing )where they sit inside the shoe - I'm not sure how comfortable that would be though. Hope it works for you 🙏
It might help to wear thicker socks and/or - instead of putting the end of the lace back through the last hole, take it across the shoe and out through the opposite hole. Put the shoe on your foot and pull in all the laces from the bottom to the top. Send the last two loops you've made over the tongue and underneath. Hopefully, that should help 🙏

Can I ask length of the lace you used?
Hi, I used the ones that came with the shoes: 140 cm
I always had a problem on the other side of the shoe, I’m confused if we still follow the same pattern or do we start from the other side
In this tutorial, I started lacing across from the outside of the shoe first. If you do this on both shoes, the lacing style on both shoes will mirror each other 😁

My laces are too long for all tutorials and I don’t wanna have my laces hanging down inside the shoes
Maybe you could buy shorter laces?
my laces are long😭
@@Valerie_url Could you finish off the laces like in the last part of the video? That'd use up any extra lace 🙏
