Just bought one of these. Don't think I'ver bought ANY piece of equipment with more pathetic instruction manual. Nothing on their website that explains how to get into the unit to change the battery. Any help?
yeah..it came with an allen wrench. ill try to explain this right. lets say its "c" shaped. on the inside curve...the part that goes around the disk when you lock it on your bike, all the way at the back there is an allen screw. took me forever to find it and I happened to look in there and I saw the screw head. if you cant find it let me know. Hope this helps. if not can make a short video to show you!
Yeah I couldnt figure it out myself. one day I was looking at it and saw inside the slot at the very back the allen head. i havent changed my battery but maybe tomorrow Ill take mine apart just to see how it goes. glad I could help John
just so you will know...I just opened mine. kind of messed it up trying to figure it out but nothing that I cant fix. so the screw...once you start unscrewing it the plastic comes right off. the module inside..there i thought the battery was on the round bottom side but its not. there is a flat part...kind of the back of the module opposite of the button. take a small screwdriver and apply and the back "plug" cover comes right off and the battery is right there. if you scratch across it, kinda has a rubber feel. that is the plug or cover
I don't get it, how did you forget it, shouldn't it have "beeped" the minute you lifted you moved your handlebars
I notice it will stop by itself after the second time siren. It's not those on going non stop siren, basically this is kinda lousy.
Yo man, multiply securities will help from preventing a theft from stilling your bike
O cabo estica até quanto? Dá para colocar na roda da frente até ao guiador?

Also, how about the question already asked? WHY did the alarm not activate when you rode off with it attached?

indiancc. Thanks. I’ll look inside. Manual, if you can call it that, says “on the bottom “ I think.
Lost in translation, perhaps.
