I took two cv axle shaft nuts and welded them onto a pipe/or bar to make a tool to adjust dodge rear ends

You'll love your hutch. Totally worth it.
You can make that rear differential tool with 3 feet of 1/2" steel pipe and a couple of 1"-1/2" bushings from the hardware store. I've got one sitting in the shop outside, I welded a washer to the backside against the hex of one bushing to keep it from sliding though the adjuster. You could also use a heavy/structural 7/8" nut with a socket pressed or welded into it and a 3 foot extension but you'll need to grind the hex down slightly to 36mm from 1 7/16" . I hope that helps, not trying to cut your grass there Tyler 🤨

Get 36mm axle nut and weld a cheap socket in the middle. That what I use all the time.
The dealership I worked at was the #1 highest motor count replacement. Good ol 2.4s. Was doin atleast 1 a week

9 1/4 diff tool at Chrysler we use a miller tool but make your own get a 5/8 or 3/4 threaded rod 3 foot long weld 1 1” but to each end and now you can torque up the side bearings to set preload need more info just txt

Go to the fastener store and buy a hex nut that will fit the adjuster for the carrier weld it to a piece of 1/2 galvanized pipe long enough reach all the way in the axle tube and then weld a tee handle and you will have yourself a badass lash adjuster for dodges!!

I thought maybe it was just me. I've got my volume maxed and can barely hear what is happening.
At what point can’t you hear me? I mic myself when I’m in the shop but not the truck. If I mic myself on the truck you’ll only be able to hear me and nobody else.
Normally I can hear you fine. For some reason this video seemed quieter on the truck and hard to make out what everyone was saying. Could have been on my end though. Keep up the great videos!

Use to be a snap on lover. But after testing watching others test I quit buying. Sad when harvie freight tools of all brands won in strength, accuracy, and cost.
I am just sick of snap on charging super high prices with terrible warranties. 700 bucks for a 1/2 in electric impact then a battery goes in just over a year and I gotta pay 250 for a battery? No thanks. Milwaukee is half the price and way longer warranties.
I have another tool truck that sells off brand stuff like gear wrench, atd and what not. He’s not crazy expensive but if I ask to order something small like drill bits or a socket he either takes weeks or never gets it. But if I want something expensive he will always get it. For instance I wanted to buy an otc hub tamer he said 700 bucks, I find it online for 359. Now why would I pay almost 350 bucks more for that kit when all the little things I ask for he never comes through? I gotta take fine out of my weekend to go to a tool store because he doesn’t want to be bothered with cheaper items so there’s no way I’d buy something expensive from him either.
I’ve had a few good tool guys over the years and they always had my business because they took care, I didn’t care if I was paying too much for something because the were good to me. But now I have to be my own tool man.
