July 22, 2024-Joe Biden's decision to leave the race was very timely. It put an end to the momentum the GOP was gaining and put the emphasis on a positive story for Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party.

It was also smart to wait until Trump picked his VP. I'm sure there are people on Trump's team wishing for a re-do right about now.
