Thanks deanr50 for sharing those amaising truck photos and song moving on was one of my favorite TV shows with Claud Atkins as the star trucker and BJ & the Bear.etc.we need some new movies about truckers.if you know anyone who makes movies maybe we can get them to make new TV shows with trucking and country music in the shows.show some respect to the trucking industry.
Thanks for all the pretty truck pictures....I have a Pete....driven over 2.5 million...and this song never gets old;c) Thx for posting it y friend...the one the only..."Demon Chaser" out of Parsons Kansas;c)
I like the peterbuilts but I drove a W900 KW 18speed stretched with 585hp with 525 torque to the ground with 10"smoke stacks all chromed out with the shifter raised 18"
Hey where's Sonny and will remember the series moving on this is the theme song still sounds great today October 23rd 20 19 I believe the mighty Merle singing it
I thought the early truck was a 73 w923 50 th anniversary vt 903 v/8 cummins 60 inch flat top sleeper. best truck'in show ever, way more real than b j and the bear. but I like both trucks.
Aaron Tippen also was or still is a Heavy Duty mechanic. Sounds like a down to earth guy with dirt under his fingernails like the rest of us hard workin guys.
I LOVE THEM PETES TOO.LONG NOSE.TWIN STACKS.FULL SLEEPER.HAULIN THE BIG LONG 53 FT DRY VAN.LOVE THAT SIGHT GOIN DOWN THE ROAD.IVE NEVER RIDDIN IN A PETE.JUST A FREIGHT SHAKER.LOL.NOISEY TOO
I'm not kidding. This is one of the few times I've heard a variation of a song and the singer sings it like the original. Oh man I love it!

Yeah. Me too. This was my favorite song when I was a kid.
Great words singer keep on rolling on
I love to hear him sing
I'll have to see if I can find the wav file for the song. Then when I get time I'll try and put something together.
love this song I'm driving for Swift now cuz just got my CDL after a year or two I'm going to go drive for trans am in Kansas
YEEEEEEEEE--HAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!
Actually this was originally done by Merle Haggard
Peter built a truck for a man to drive. Nice vid. I reconise some of the spots. Keep the shiny side up, catch you on the flip.
Aaron Tippen also was or still is a Heavy Duty mechanic. Sounds like a down to earth guy with dirt under his fingernails like the rest of us hard workin guys.
Don't forget the gun shop!
KEEP THEM WHEELS HOT IF THEY COOL DOW THEY WILL CRACK- KEEP ON TRUCKING!!
I love Petes, but where are the KW's?? The show was based on a W900!
does anyone know what the guitar cords are to Arron Tippin's "Movin On"
I don't think this is mighty Merle singing it but it still sounds good I know he did original copy for the show
You can watch it on Hulu.
