I recognize the conductor from the shot where 765 passes 110. That's Matthew I recognize him from the Buckley old engine show. He is the conductor of the spirit of Traverse City miniature train.
Wonderful video! Great coverage of the whole weekend. I have to mention tho, In the description it says Little River 110 ran in NC. But if I’m not mistaken it ran for the original Little River Railroad out of Townsend, Tennessee until 1939 and in 1940 it was sold to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad from Knoxville to Sevierville, Tennessee until 1961 when it was abandoned. I don’t believe it ever ran in NC.
Great video dude! Love the quality of the sound. I just have one question. How'd you get that "zoom out" effect at 7:18 and at 8:10? I think it looks really cinematic.
Done in post production. Often we avoid in camera zoom, as the changing focal length also changes the compression of the image. This is why other zooms will look less "cinematic", the compression of the image is changing. This is why movies almost always shoot at a resolution much higher than what the movie will be presented in, so they can zoom in post, and have no quality loss in the final product while also avoiding the changing compression.

Still love they put 576's on it. Gives us a preview on what's to come in the next few years.
Many thanks for sharing! Always look forward to seeing your videos.
Thanks for watching!
This sure was a fantastic way to celebrate both the FWRHS's 50th anniversary and 576's 80th b-day!
Fantastic video, beautifully filmed. A great locomotive with a unique sound. Thank you for showing me.
Glad you enjoyed
Glad they put the old whistle back on.
I was along side you in a few of those shots, most notably the photo line with 576’s whistle at Pleasant Lake

Awesome video friend
Thanks
Such a good video. And if you see the guy sitting on the ground around 13:59, that's me making a sound recording of the train on that Saturday.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed. Our team sure did a first rate job on this one.
Very great steam video :)
Glad you enjoyed

It was just Smokey Mountain Railroad, but duly noted.
Cool

Sure prefer the NPR whistle myself, the other one sounds like 3985.
Did 765's whistle change to be like 760's in 2022? Or 2021?
Also I was born on 2011 so back then I didn't knew 760 existed.
If I'm wrong tell me I have no idea which whistle that is from.
