Really incredible to see! From what I experienced in NYC just in line waiting to get into The Paramount theatre for SB19, it's not just a fandom, it's Family. I hope this inspires more of the Filipino diaspora all over the world to embrace what's coming out from their home country, even if many haven't been born in the Philippines. PPop NEEDS to Rise, too many "orphans" out there looking for Home.
one thing that made SB19 the Kings of PPop is because all of the other PPop groups' fandom are most probably from A'tin. remember no one but a few supported PPop when SB19 was just starting. and when they finally made it, dumami na ang supporters. maniwala ba naman akong naging fans yun out of nowhere. siyempre galing sila sa existing fandom na A'tin na kagaya ng SB19 ay naghangad na din na makilala ang PPop kaya sumusuporta na sa mga upcoming na grupo. it's inspirational how they (SB19) moved their fans in achieving this wider goal.

thank you Rappler for always being there for ppop..thanks Jaira this is so well done...it made me tear up... this country needs to hear more about ppop and how Pinoy fans go to great lengths just to attend or support these amazing ppop groups.....there are still so many things that ppop fans do that the media havent featured...i am A'tin and i have done my share of doing big and small things for SB19, and even the crazy things :) and even among other fandoms i know marami pa...since among A'tin lang alam ko, during their US Tour, there were some who also toured with them hahahha locally (davao, cebu, etc) and abroad (ny, la, dubai, singapore)... to all the organizers, volunteers and staff thanks so much! thanks to some fanbases of Alamat, BGYO, VXON, etc and esp to Atin, im so proud of you!

Gosh, I got teary-eyed. It's really different pala to just say, "Filipinos are starting to support our own talents" to actually see it happening. Mga KPOP and loveteam-related events lang ang usually nakakapull ng ganyang crowd and now the PPOP community shows that they can as well - that they can provide an avenue for underrated ppop groups & soloists to perform, and to gather the members of their community for the love of Filipino pop music. Thank you so much Rappler for this short documentary and to the organizers of PPOPCOM! Not everyone has the guts to pull off an event like this.
