- We are finishing up the Dining Room for Christmas 2023 in a green and gold Irish theme. Christmas in Europe is the theme this year so the Dining Room area is representing Ireland and a nod to Wales. We are collectors, we love our collections and antiques and vintage pieces. We also love to mix in some new things as well. You will see vintage and new reindeers, vintage plates, emerald green glass, and vintage sleighs and our Irish santas by Possible Dreams. They all make up our 2023 Christmas theme for the Dining Room. I am using our 2 gold pencil trees again this year and they give the room a vintage look and definitely an Irish feel. This extra I do with the garlands and vases just maximizes the Christmas look in our home. Stay with us we are just getting started with our Christmas 2023 decorating season. Hi ya Jeff, I use a lot of Australian fauna in my Christmas tree and table . I just go out back and cut what need LoL eucalyptus is my favourite the smell that comes from it is wonderful. We have a red bottlebrush that flowers now I try to use that to. An Irish, Welsh and Scottish and of course English tree sounds like my cuppa tea . Gaelic ribbon marvellous. Been out today to get twinkle lights for doorways . I'm making some lanterns with Jeff's help . Love everything even the pizza . All depends on who you ask. If you asked us we would say we are behind. Lol...Our family gets it and some people just never will get it and that's ok👍🎄🎅🍀 It also depends on the volume of what you decorate. We do way more than most people so we start early...also if you feel like it just do it, you are your own boss.🫡👌

That is a great idea to do a night tour. The new LED lights make it hard to film without alot of light in your space. They will flicker and strobe when the light is dim. We will try it out to see if that is possible. Thanks for the suggestion.

I’m sure you covered this before somewhere in your video history, but I’m wondering where you store your treasures. Our neighbors do an outdoor Christmas display in their front yard and work from a small attached shed to their home. I always tease them and say it’s like a “clown car,” things just keep coming out of a small area. 🥰

Too much for me I couldn’t cope with the cleaning let alone putting it all out, I admire your energy, but I will just enjoy looking at what you and your wife have done! What do you do about Thanksgiving day showing Christmas decorations. Not much time enjoying Thanksgiving and fall decorations
On Thanksgiving at our house you see Christmas. We have always started Christmas early because it takes so long to decorate our maximalist Christmas home. We also start Fall early so we do get a couple of months to enjoy that season as well.🙂

Traditionally the Main tree went up on thanksgiving day ! No we eat here usually ! In a 1972 Ethan Allen catalogue I saw a Christmas table for thanksgiving ! Loved it ever since .....🎄🎄🎄☕and its my true belief the extra effort is for celebrating him ! 💒
