T'keyah crystal was really a gem that needed her own show where she could show all her versatility, especially the childhood voice. The only person I know as great as her with the voices is Regina king
funny how ILC spoofed Americas funniest home videos lmao. Both were really big favorites in my home when I was a kid. Funny enough, half the gag was that Bob Saget was supposed to be a "corny" comic. But many of us, MUCH later in life, came to discover what a great and particularly brutal and raunchy comic Bob actually was. May he rest in peace. Also, it's funny how you find surprise at what they were allowed to film at the time. For example, I lost it when that clerk got blasted in that black and white robbery footage during the americas funniest home videos sketch. I mean, I remember laughing as a kid, but things have gotten so sensitive, that you almost forget sometimes that you lived in a world where you were ALLOWED to laugh, if that makes sense.
I hope that any young people who may watch this today can look up who Andrew Dice Clay was so that they can appreciate just how damn accurate and funny that Andrea Dice Clay sketch was.
This show was a great counter to the often saccharine and bland other shows of the time. Homey especially was very edgy, in the fact that he targeted only "The Man" and it really wasn't about "color" but about a mindset more than anything.
This was the first episode of the show that I saw back in 1990. Every sketch in this one was funny. When was the last time that a sketch comedy show could say that?
Ohno,i was curious to know where bob saget was, i was shocked to see he passed away, how the heck did i not hear about this,i grew up with him hoping he was my dad.rest easy bob😢
I dont know who the stand out star was as i watched it via dvds my older brother bought when they first came out.. although in sure i saw re runs in the late 90s. Who was the stand out star? I was always a big Damon fan, loved his humour growing up and movies like bulletproof
It is impossible to find a show on TV this day in age that can make you laugh like this show can!

Kid 'n Play was in the audience for the America's Funniest Home Videos sketch! lol

It's nice that they showed off Rosie Perez. She did a lot for the show.
She's always been so adorable

Jim Carey’s imitation of Bob F was spot on, it was sickening. Lol

Kelly Coffield killed it with that Andrea Dice Clay bit!
Homey the clown was way scarier than the it clown 😂
That MoMoney skit had me laughing 😂

When they introduced the "FLY GURLS" and the "DJ" back then it was a good time to take a quick crap or heat up a burrito.
Yup. The fly girl segments were gratuitous!
Damn Jim did a good job! 😂😂😂

These skits were funny. Love the politically incorrect humor. The first few years of the show were great. Kind of like The Simpsons.
The first appearance of Homie the Clown.
@17:51 I don't think so ... Homie don't play that. 😂😂😂😂😂
The Littlun Dancing At The Credits
I could've sworn I saw kid n' play in the audience.

" Totally Dissed Homey"😂 😂 😂
in the 90s, niggas used to go to the closet and be like "word, i think imma wear the mustard yellow slacks today.."
I wish this crew could train others to make shows like this
That tv monitor looks really archaic now that we're in the age of flat screen s
