Gonna be completely honest: this wasn't supposed to be a video at all, it just kinda had to be this way for video scheduling reasons😅 Hope you find some sort of entertainment value in this compilation of rainy day footage🤣
😂😂😂 yes it validates my thoughts on NZ … honestly when you announced country 100 I rolled my eyes with disappointment… Let me explain We live in England my English husband refuses any kinda travel in the Uk 🇬🇧 but he would like to go to NZ and I told him No I’m not flying that many hours to see more grass! We can just go to Ireland (which he has never been, I have many times I m mix Irish and have family there) or go visit your mum in Yorkshire it’s the same! Grass and 💩s 😂 our daughter laughed so hard when she overheard me watching you announcing and I was like “what the F is this a joke? Then I watched Queensland vlog and you wan me over you sold it to me! Our daughter was shocked and needless to say so was the hubby laughing his head off 🎉😂 and now this episode comes along !!!! I was right all along it’s like Yorkshire 🤣🤣🤣🤣 👍🏼guys that was helpful 😬😆😜 🙏🏼 Sabrina🇫🇷🇬🇧
It's such a shame the weather didn't turn it on for you because it's so beautiful up there. :( This is very strange weather we're having at the moment/. So sorry guys!
good thing you are not here now, or should I say last Frid-Wed - of course you might never have experienced an "atmospheric river" or followed by "rainmaker" :-) safe travels wherever you are
Always enjoy your videos! It was great to see the sights of a place that I probably will not ever get to visit...lol the hubby hates to travel...I love to travel! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤣🤣
@@sabrinastraveladventures4263 you mean Queenstown? We’re not a part of Australia. We have the most beautiful country filled with natural beauty and a very low people to land ratio unlike England. Have you even visited us? You can’t expect everywhere to always have beautiful weather, it’s called weather and science. It rains here sometimes but not as much as the UK
My mom's mom was getting to the point where she couldn't travel far anymore and wanted to take a last big trip in the US. Understand, she was born in a 2 room dirt floor shack in southeast Iowa and had been to Europe, lived in San Francisco, and wanted to go to someplace she'd never been. Talking with her and my mom, we realized neither of us had been to New Orleans. As people who had grown up in a west bank of the Mississippi city, it became obvious where we would go. As the plane landed, the clouds let loose and it rained almost every minute of our trip. We had the best of times together. You got sprinkled on! I've been back to NOLA many times and can confirm the sun shines there and it is such a different vibe. You already know you have to go back, please do it outside of the rainy season there. I'll be thrilled to go for the ride with you two.
Next time yall come to New Zealand you have to check out the Coromandel, some of the most amazing beaches in the world (in my opinion) and its not too far from Auckland.
Unfortunately you didn’t see the nice things outside Auckland, like hobbiton, the beaches on the east and west coast , the bay of plenty, the coromandel, Hamilton gardens, cap rainga, 90 mile beach , the desert road and national park, as well as taranaki
At least it didn't stop you from making the most of your time. The rain can be annoying, but it is part of travelling, unpredictable. We loved Oskar's interpretation of birds, ahah, very funny! Loved this video :)
That ending reminds me those videos ''4k walking under the rain''. Too good and too little. Ps: NZ's green 🥰 the mountains, the surrounding water.. really beautiful
I'm so guttered you came to New Zealand when it was raining like crazy (even now as we got one whole month of rain in a few days resulting in one of the worst floods ever) I hope you did manage to get some time to look around and enjoy Auckland, and also glad your friend got you to see some local spots too! But I do hope you return and the weather is a lot better. Take care and Kia ora 💖💖💖
I spent my last night in Auckland right across from the theater you passed. But that was 4 years ago and I got lucky with the weather. I was there in February and the weather was awesome!
You never cease to deliver amazing vlogs! I always cheer up when I see a new video from the two of you. :) NZ looks awesome and I'm sorry the weather wasn't as cooperative but kudos for still going out and seeing what you could! Surfers are never deterred by weather conditions. It seems the worse the weather, the more likely they are to be out there catching as big a wave as they can lol Travel safe, friends, and looking forward to the final installment of New Zealand!
Hey Boys⭐'s💯 Loved every second of that, being Irish/Brit I'm immune to rain and would definitely be out in it if I was somewhere so beautiful, loving both birds & surfers😅 It was also so sweet seeing the two of you, really happy together, proving its never so much where you go,but, who you're with. Its lovely to see how much more relaxed you've become since I started this journey with you; you make such a wonderful couple. As always looking forward to the next video and wherever you are ,now, very best wishes to you&yours💥👊👏👏👏💙💙👌👋✌
Haha! Your kiwi " Oihouih NOIUHOIUH!" ( "Oh no!") was perfect. It's very difficult for most non- kiwis to do, given there are about 6 vowel shifts in it. Well done!
Haha that’s how New Zealand be, South Island is sunny but cold, North Island is rainy but warm 😂. We have a lot of Asian people in our main cities which is why we get such yummy food as well 😋.
I couldn't watch because I know how bad the weather has been here in the North Island 🙄. But I'm going to Queenstown next week and I am so excited for the good weather 😅
IMHO the North Island has its own unique charms such as a visitors ability to meet more Maori's and experience and learn about their culture; the volcanic features of Rotorua, the various types of boat trips (and dolphin swimming) in Paihia in the Bay of Islands at the very north of the North Island; the unique art deco building of the once badly damaged by an earthquake Napier; the stunning cities of Auckland and Wellington; it also has it's own glow worm caves. It's no less interesting than the South Island which of course has the stunning Southern Alps; just different and I wouldn't have missed experiencing it for the world.
You forget that the population of new Zealand is sheep, sheep, sheep, and human. It is not boring last time I was there I was 16 and loved every minute there you guys need to go to Rotorua
4:51 is Oskar the only one with a driving licence, or does he do the driving out of preference? All the shots in the car in your videos primary show him at the wheel…
Nooo noo noo, as they were driving down fanshawe street, which was 1-2 metres underwater on Friday, I would say it was a few weeks ago....plus they posted their flight leaving Auckland a couple of weeks ago ruclips.net/video/jbtY9ss7RWM/видео.html
Despite the rain, the north island looks just as stunning as the south! Moody weather is sexy. To someday visit New Zealand would be a dream come true for me 😄🥝

You know what Oskar? I'm with you, "surfers spotting" should be a sport itself lol
🤣🙌
Welcome back guys! Always glad to see you. You are the ones who bring the sunshine.:)
Dubu-jorim going on this week's meal plan! Thanks guys... I'm eager to try it!

The rain got even worse. Hope the folks in Auckland continue to recover from the deluge.
Going to be there in a few weeks.

So crazy after following for so long to see you both cross the harbour bridge and visit the suburbs I grew up in and live in now
That's so cool🙌
Your videos always cheer me up guys thanks ❤

This New Zealand series has been amazing. You made me so hungry with those Dan Dan noodles!❤️✈️

I love your videos and I also love New Zealand. All the best for your future travels.

And Cyclone Gabby, this time last year was Brisvegas/ east coast Australia flooded..
Kia ora loved your bird imitation. Enjoy NZ even though it's unusually wet this summer the people make up for it.

Beautiful! Enjoy!🥰
I like this video. Thank you brothers.
New Zealand looks so pretty. Even in the rains :D
Lika bra som alltid💙
You can always go scuba when it`s raining.......or eat!
Cheers guys ❤
Good point. They ate alright, but missed the opportunity to swim w the fishes.

6 vowel shifts🤣 Thanks for the encouragement haha
I hope you made it to Rotorua. The geothermal activity and landscapes are among the most impressive things I’ve seen, anywhere. 😍
0:51 I'm literally doing this (driving) itinerary in reverse in 3.5 months! Can't wait!
Think doing it in reverse is the better option actually!
Skip to 6:21 for a description of of the game ‘Angry Birds’
Love, love!!
It's still beautiful though (and I HATE rain)

We both have it but I've had it longer and HATE being the copilot🤣
Well, rain in New Zealand in summer is quite normal, I experienced this 10 years before, it was warm but it rained every day 😡
So it never rains where you live then?
Watching in lounge in Singapore while waiting for flight to NYC…put’s Spicy Moon on restaurant list. 😁
Yes it's a must!! Get the fried kung pao tofu, the dan dan noodles, and the spicy wontons in chili oil😍
I love that you love The View! Who knew! You get it is Sweden?
We watch it on RUclips😆
The North Island is more than Auckland. You missed Tongariro crossing and Taupo.
Just wondering, will you be posting anymore since I'm assuming you're not travelling anymore after hitting your goal.
We will for sure continue posting🙌
OMG, this is during/after the Auckland heavy rain ?

its said Ta-fara-nui (wh - is pronounced as f)
most kiwis would actually call it 'Tafra-niu'
Wellington and the surrounding areas are much prettier than Auckland imho.
Have you ever been to the Bay of Islands, Coromandel?
Should have stayed in the South Island and visited Christchurch 😆 I might be biased lol since I live there
They did, watch the last video

Now you know why it is so green here.
Is it me or does Oskars arms look nice in that shirt?
4:36 I would give a lot to live in a culture like this. 😂
Wow, so much great vegan food, OMG!
Unfortunately, that's why you should of stayed longer in the south lol. Ill just sit back to hear the north islander's jumping up and down lol
These videos must be old,I watched your flight from NZ , about the time of the Football world cup in Qatar.
About a month behind yes :)
@Oskar and Dan Stay well guys, much love.
So what happens after country 100? Selfishly I like to see more travel vlogs. I imagine though you will rest.
More will come🙌
Go to the Philippines, it will brighten your day.

Sorry you came to Auckland during such a rainy summer in the North Island. Now you know why it is called Aotearoa (land of the long white cloud) lol
Very entertaining video on New Zealand
New Zealand in general is very boring. But, if you aren't the type of person looking for excitement, then it's the place for you.
