- This is segment 2 of the April 2012 show at the 2-stage in Melrose Park, Illinois. Melrose Park is still Phase 3, but sadly, they are re-locating soon, and the stage will be trashed. Filmed on 5/24/2012.
This store looks AWESOME! Shame it's gone now..
WOW what a shame this store was re located and remodeled!! Looks amazing from the footage!
It was, I had the pleasure of growing up with this location until the day it moved. I was devastated that they didn’t bring the show across the street to the current location. I was in high school when the move happened, and when this video took place. I had two birthday parties there at the old location too
The show rarely had malfunctions
@@Lionloverky I was heartbroken when basically the same thing happened to the Streamwood location. But I mean, knowing how greedy CEC is, they will of course remodel/relocate any beautiful location. Northridge CA and La Mesa CA are planned to remodel to phase 5
@@americanidiot-04 Yeah, I coudn't stand Rockford's remodel. Such a nostalgic bit of childhood, gone.
they gave northridge 2.0@@americanidiot-04
A lot of 2 stages turned into COL
The store was relocated and was built with a COL
Cappa's are only installed in smalltown locations only.
whats a smalltown location
"So if you're feeling low" Well yeah Chuck, daaaaaaang, look how freaking low this stage is.
I always thought he said so if your feeling loved
I wish the stage was still there
Me too
Why does it seem like there legs are shorter or is that just the stage
The stage was most likely shorter, because they had a Road Stage in the 90s and the early versions of that stage made it so the stage was literally the floor, allowing kids to walk right up to the animatronics with no issues of climbing on the stage.
All we got of this location outside of the Showroom is 1 Picture
I Couldnt Find Any Pics Of Old Melrose Park At All
There some on foursquare
in michigan i have 5 dance floors 5 studio cs 2 2stages
I never seen a store sign like that for phase 3

R.I.P Old Melrose Park Location September 24 1991-May 27 2012
RedaCEC-Showtapes and More they closed in 2014
I thought it closed in 14
@@illinoiansuburbanfirerepon397 That's Streamwood
No it is not that’s Melrose Park
@@illinoiansuburbanfirerepon397 Streamwood closed in 2014
why would they close this place it was amazing ngl
They moved it literally across the street into Winston Plaza, where they installed a circles of lights with a studio C beta animatronic. The old location is currently an Olive Garden I think they could’ve done without the Olive Garden, and kept the old location
Old location got demolished
@@Lionloverky literally the same thing happened to my local Streamwood, literally across the parking lot.
but why@@Lionloverky
@@CoolChuckVideo I honestly don’t know. The old location was always reasonably busy without too many people there, when I went there. I assume they were forced to move
Haha no... That is an old Test Stage from 2010. I am talking about the new Test Stage with LED lighting. :)
we will miss duncan brann greatly
This location was beautiful why did they close it 😭😭
Unfortunately, it's nothing like the old place... all bright and stuff. And only one animatronic. :( :( :(
Now that I just thought of it you visited 2 days before the store closed
That is near kiddie land and toys r us but they all closed but Chuck E. Cheese Relocated
Helen in spotlight at the dark
I've seen a few pics of the new store... How is it?
chuckecheeseshows it’s ok
But I wish they kept the other animatronics it would of be like memorable
It's a phase 4 with a COL with a 16M Bot. The best thing is that they still kept some of the old decorations but they are either hard to see or in storage. I also think they still have the avenger costume but obviously never use it.
Ah Yes Old Melrose Park
I live over there and I like this stage better
I live over here too, I grew up with this stage. This is what I think about when I think of Chuck E. Cheese’s
The tech said they are moving across the street.
They relocated this location
Yeah I know
i go here but it was gone when i got their I told them to stop but know it is gone
Why did they move to a smaller location?
New location is much bigger than the old one.
Building issues mainly, and they couldn't really alter the store if they remodeled. More easier to just relocate then to spend the same amount to remodel the store. It was kind of outdated too.
Either that, or a Test Stage. xD
big chuck they closed it in 2013
Nope 2012
I’ve must of been thinking of another location Cause I know it wasn’t Streamwood
I was Born 2012
Foursquare, and one from a friend... ;)
Why did it close?
bad building conditions
The interior was still phase 3, exterior of the building was old, and I think it was expensive to remodel. That’s why they closed and moved!
I kind of sucks that it’s a 16 movement bot and not a 32 movement!
True
Do you know what stage this will be when re-located?
FlyStudios Winston Plaza
studio c
It's now an Olive Garden
It’s not an Olive Garden..... the stage just got knocked down in 2012 and replaced with the 2012 version of the circle of lights stage which means circle of lights stage with the studio C animatronic, the Olive Garden looking Chuck E. Cheese’s design came out on 2017......
Chuck E. Cheese’s Animatronic CEC shows. It is an Olive Garden. The location relocated
Yep when they tore that Chuck E. Cheese down I believe either it was the same year they closed or it might of been a year after Olive Garden was built on the former sight.
And kiddie land closed in 2009 and now it is a Costco
And toys r us closed in 2018 and now it is a spirit Halloween
Mhm
What day did it close?
Read description
It says they are relocating soon but it doesn't say any date of relocation...
Oh, my bad!
Big Chuck - Not sure, shortly after I visited though
