Hello, Teacher Gideon! I would absolutely love more detailed look at Romeo and Juliet and Shakespeare’s other works! Please make longer videos about great works of English literature! Keep up the good work! Thank you!
Thank you so much, I really would enjoy other story as such, learning vocabulary that nowadays are not used is fascinating and augment passive vocabulary. Have a nice holiday Gideon 🎉
Hello Teacher, l think that Shakespeare´s play is an exciting story that shows the mensure of the humanity´s stupid because two families are hated each other, but nobody knows th target of the resentment and the origins of feeling. The Capuleto and the Montesco´s descendant only handcraft the upset. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!!
Certainly, the story of Romeo and Juliet is a famous and tragic tale that resonates across all eras. I believe that Shakespeare's mindset (since he delves into human nature and is able to reflect its true emotions) suggests that the more impossible something seems, the deeper and stronger the desire becomes. This is, I think, true in psychology, but it is also absurd. We have many similar examples in our literature, like Qays and Layla, for instance, and they all share the same tragic ending. In any case, thank you so much, Teacher Gideon, for summarizing the story with such precision and conciseness. I enjoyed it a lot.😊🌻
When I was young and living in a city in Somalia and I knew nothing about love, our English teacher in middle school told us this story, the title of the story was bad news is faster than good news, until now this story is in my memory, several A month ago I got a book written about it. This story makes me happy because it reminds me of my childhood memories, my school, teachers, city, classmates 😊
Hello Gid! Love it. You told the story very eloquently. Shakespeare is my favorite. One suggestion ftom me please do come with all Shakespearean plays in this manner if you can.
When I was a little girl I played music from Prokofiev' ballet Romeo and Juliet. I Enjoyed it. Music attracts tragedy. Thanks. I'm fond of your reading. I guess I could read only adapted variant.
Thank you, I really enjoyed it. Moral of the story, Don’t kill anyone and yourself and say the truth and wait for people to wake up even in a spiritual level.
what have I learnt from this story? Well, failure in communication is tragic. So keep your phone on and cross your fingers so that your phone company keeps a decent service 😂😂😂. Obviously I'm just kidding. Thank You so much Gideon!!!
his pronunciation of "poison" (around 24:00) sounds standard for me. i guess what you're referring to is actually the word "potion", which is repeated several times after that.
@@marieo.a.9294 Yes, you're right. I thought it was the pronunciation of "poison". But it seems that it's a different word which I don't know the meaning of.(I've looked it up of course=) Thank for clarifying.

I’ve never heard the pronunciation of the word ‘poison’ like yours. Is it some kind of local accent or what?
Hmm interesting, how would you normally hear it pronounced?

Explain the difficult words during your reading that’s enough not much, briefly ✌️
It’s actually much better to hear the text first and then go through them in detail after 👍
