- Before leaving for Nuku’alofa, Tonga for the PIF Leaders Meeting today, Prime Minister James Marape responded to a call by Deputy Leader of the Opposition James Nomane for a change in Government come the September Parliament session, through a vote-of-no-confidence.
The Prime Minister says he welcomes the Opposition's planned vote of no-confidence against his government.

While not aligned to the current regime we ought to thank JM for setting the precedence in getting the Vonc format correct to its very detail, setting a benchmark for future governments to uphold, as a way of doing business in the Haus in its strictest sense.
If you want to change PM Marape, the alternate PM as RPaita, will see a unsuccessful VONC. Alan Bird as was originally nominated could see movement in MPs currently in government move to join force with the opposition for a change in government but not with Paita

He just can't step down. The opposition must have the numbers to remove him through the vonc. Demanding for him to step down, screaming, drumming up public support through whatever means won't help you. Get the numbers opposition. Today PNG GDP per Capita is USD2,532.00 and South Korea GDP per capita is USD34,872.00
So what happened to PNG?
The Success Story of South Korea Saemaul Undong SMU movement.
In 1960, Papua New Guinea GDP per capita was USD1,318.80 and South Korea was USD158 with annual growth rate of -40.74% and China was USD90.00 with annual growth rate of -15.32%.
After 63 years, 1960-2024, Papua New Guinea GDP per capita is USD2,532.00, South Korea GDP per capita is USD34,872.00 and China GDP per capita is USD13,138.00.
In the last 63 years, Papua New Guinea GDP per capita increased from USD1,318.00 in 1960 to USD2,532.00 in 2024.
I'm the last 63 years, South Korea GDP per capita increased from USD158.00 in 1960 to USD34,872.00 in 2024.
Papua New Guinea was almost 9 times much better than South Korea in 1960 and almost 13 times much better than China in 1960.
In 2024...China is the World's 2nd Economic Super Power and South Korea is the most developed and Industrailized Nation in the world.

We still fighting and discussing who will be the next Prime Minister when our performance as a nation in terms of development is very very very poor.
So what is the magic behind South Korea economic prosperity and transformation in the last 63 years?
The two key most important transformation national policy development plan and the community ward development plan initiated in 1970 by South Korean Government were:
1. Five Years National Development Plan
2. Saemaul Undong SMU Community Ward Development Plan
These two most important development plans were the key transformation magic for South Korea to increase GDP per capita by USD34,612.00 in the period of 63 years while PAPUA NEW GUINEA GDP per capita only increased by USD1,200.00.
Papua New Guinea we playing too much dirty stupid politics and failed our citizens for the last 63 years.
What Papua New Guinea desperately needs now are these three important National Development Plans for the next 40 years...
1. National Connect PNG Program 2020 - 2040 (K20Billion)
2. National Agriculture Sector Plan 2024-2033 (K16Billion)
3. National Ward Development Plan 2025-2034 (K15Billion)
In the next 10 years, Government has to inject almost K20Billion for Connect PNG Program, K16Billion for Commercial Agriculture Program and K15billion for Ward Development Programs, which is total of K51billion.
Total National Government budget for the next 10 years will be almost K270Billion so if the government can spend almost K51Billion on these three core important pillars, PNG can transform and become the next economic hub for the Asia Pacific Region.
Every year PNG government must be committed to it's citizens and fund K1.6billion for the Agriculture and Livestock Sector and another K1.5billion for the Ward Development Plan apart from the existing Connect PNG Program.
If we want to transform PNG, we need to fund these two key important development plan.
Scale down the National budget allocations into incompetent Sectors and downsize the work force from the national offices in Port Moresby and send them back into Ward Areas in the LLG in the next 10 years to implement these two most important development plans to achieve the 2050 🎯 targets.
The secret to South Korea transformation were:
1. Honesty
2. Truthfulness
3. Faithfulness
Based on the three important secrets above, fruitfulness of development, success and prosperity was the floodgates of South Korea.
The secrets to PNG failure were:
1. Dishonesty
2. Untruthfulness
3. Unfaithfulness
Because of the above key inputs in our government system and operations, we are now harvesting the fruitfulness of corruption.
South Korea, Singapore, Dubai and China are not the Christian nation like PNG but God bless them so abundantly because they possess and practice Faithfulness Truthfulness and Honesty which is God's ideal character so their success and prosperity is the fruits of their practice in their system of government.
PNG is famous for it's Christianity but we don't practice the values and attributes of Christianity so now we harvesting the fruits of dishonesty, untruthfulness and unfaithfulness.
We harvesting what our forefathers planting in this nation since independence.
We need to ask those former Prime Ministers how much do this nation receive from its natural resources?
They all sold our natural resources to foreigners until Hon. James Marape became the Prime Minister and under his Take Back PNG flagship initiated 51/49 ownership policy.
Connect PNG Program 2020-2040 flagship is on... National Agriculture Sector Plan 2024-2033 was launched and now working on National Ward Development Plan 2025-2034.
If we have Marape Rosso Pangu Government back in 1975, PNG would not be like now.
Let us give another 10 years to Marape Rosso Pangu Coalition Government and see the fruits.
The fruits we harvesting now is not because of Prime Minister but because of some wrong people he appointed in all the departments and SOEs and they are calling this country with their incompetent leadership who lack truthfulness Faithfulness and Honesty to transform PNG.
Unless we get right people to run the organisations of government we will keep wasting government PIPs and continue to face cashflow crisis.
I don't see any better person in the opposition camp best for PNG unless God almighty has someone better apart from Marape to lead PNG into it's transformation journey after 40 years of wilderness journey.
